There's a couple of specific situations where an individual T34 76 is useful; say the wounded and crippled Elefant is slowly making its way to the rear behind a Pak wall and you can't send your IS2 or SU76 horde to go chase it down.
Get a T3476. They build insanely fast, they're a cheap throwaway unit that can run in, pen the Elefants rear armor, and survive long enough to find the thing and kill it.
The very first thing I did on September 2nd was go and put money in my Steam Wallet(Dear God you talk about an abusive practice) so I could get Spearhead Tactics.
That's pretty much the anti-British commander at the moment, MHT, Panzer Tactician, Recon, Frag Bombs, oh, and this little thing called a Tiger.
I've only played a handful of games vs brits but I largely agree with Latch. One thing I will say though is that while some form of Brace may be needed, in its current form the ability is just ridiculous. Perhaps the MP (and fuel where relevant) cost of emplacements could be reduced, in exchange for a weaker Brace; but to me the ability is basically game-breaking, especially on the Bofors.
Precisely. Emplacements are far too expensive to play the central role they're supposed to play for the Brits, but they are far too hard to kill for Axis with Brace in its current form.
Drop Mortar to 320 MP, nerf Brace.
Unsure of current costs of Bofors and 17lbr so can't say what would be fair for them.
Put an MG in a church once, the Brit player flanked it and dropped a smoke flare next to the building.
I saw the red smoke rising, shrugged my shoulders and shifted my attention to a different sector.
Neither the MG nor the mortar next to the building lost a single man in the ensuing barrage.
KT was fine. IS2 and Tiger balance were also perfectly fine, at least they were until Relic started messing with them.
Relic, you finally managed to get an aspect of the game completely well balanced, and now you're unbalancing it again! Please leave the heavies alone, they're perfectly fine. (Except for the Pershing which has mysteriously yet to appear).
Concentrate on the glaring issue in the game right now- buffing early Brits and nerfing late Brits.
The LeIG's accuracy have been buff and the stuka is as powerful as ever.
I actually haven't seen anyone building the Pack howie yet, and the priest is locked behind a doc.
I build the Pack Howitzer whenever I play USF. It's not QUITE as good as the LeIG, but it can still create a great beaten/kill zone against enemy infantry and win you a match if you get it set up in the proper spot.
Don't forget the HMC either, that thing is amazing.
I won this, but barely, when I feel like I had a huge advantage early on. If anyone has ideas on how to deal with this kind of ATG + Centaur spam before it gets started, or without needing a Tiger and sacrificing large amounts of units, please tell me.
