It is hard to say without knowing exactly what you changed. What do you mean by starting squad, for example?
well I have tried to options, cause I want to be able to build the german PAK 43 and the Soviet 152 mm Howitzer.
So I have been testing, and for the Howitzer I did: 1. Clone
2. Remove faction/commander requirements
3. Change soldiers that spawns with the gun once it built, from soviet weapon crew to aef
weapon crew
And when I test this in game, engineers build, and once its completed, you can see a gun spawns behind the one you just built, and explodes. And you can capture the original gun.
For the PAK 43 I did: 1. Clone
2. Remove faction/commander requirements
3. Remove "Stating_squad" to "null".
And when I test this in game, engineers build, but cant capture it once its done. It just stands there useless. And I dont get the "mouse" ingame that you get when you pick up weapons or other crew weapons.
