Thread: Lemon's 2v2 USF 16 Aug 2015, 15:07 PM nice write-up, i don't have access to rifle company but I've been using Armor and Infantry company more and more so it's helpful to see some tips geared toward those commanders. how would you deal with MG42 spam in the early game? I've played a few games where my opponents will get 4-6 MG42 teams with overlapping and staggered firing arcs and it's so difficult to play against even with smoke grenades. the only consistently effective solution i've come up with is going early stuart but your build seems to get a much later stuart. any experience in dealing with mass mg42 spam? Thread: UKF - Know your units - .Emplacements31 Jul 2015, 14:27 PM I just realized how redundant these videos are. Hey did you know the Brits get a sweet mortar team that shoots stuff? Seriously! Here's a video of it doing mortar things like lobbing smoke and shelling infantry from a distance! Oh they also get a 17 Pounder AT weapon that is really good against tanks. Don't believe us? Here's a video of the 17 Pounder AT shooting German tanks! See, and you didn't believe me! Crap, one last thing: The UKF also get a 40mm Bofor AA/AI emplacement and its main role, believe it or not, is to shoot at aircraft and infantry. Here we have something of a copy paste of vCOH brits, which are one of the campiest factions ever, in coh2... I don't see how you can say this when a common strategy for Axis is to spam MG's, Mortars, and AT until they can get tanks out. All of these units are by their very nature "campish", but then that's part of the game. The only difference is that now the Allies will have a faction that can actually defend an entrenched position. In: Lobby

Thread: Hello! :)29 Jul 2015, 18:10 PM Hey everyone! I started playing roughly two weeks ago and I've been having a blast with Company of Heroes 2. I'm a huge fan of the original and played it non-competitively (with friends or against CPU) for ages, but this time around I'm much more interested in the competition of MP/Ranked. I will usually be lurking in the strategy section as a result. Right now I'm playing USF, however I'll randomly play the other factions to help myself learn the game and switch it up a bit. Side note: This community seems really cool so far which is a nice contrast to the toxic SC2 community I'm used to, so whenever I've had questions in-game they are usually answered politely.
