Entirely random: But, is it just me...or is the recent release of the OKW flame grenade really showing how terrible, expensive, and ineffective the USF grenades is? |
I remember watching videos and streams before the British release, and I remember hearing about them being a "hammer and anvil" type country - incorporating both offensive and defensive capabilities into their gameplay.
The British get released and emplacements are everywhere (How effective they were is unknown, as I'm always too busy playing USF to recognize). Anyways, a month later - they're dead. The only time I see an emplacement is when I have a noob on my team and are getting our butthole raped by Axis.
What the hell happened to them? Where did they go? Has relic acknowledged anything being wrong with them...or are any steps being taken to have them become relevant again?
I am just curious. I never play Brits, so I don't care too much for them. (Does everyone feel the same way?) I just NEVER see anyone building them and it is honestly quite comical too me...how 30 days after their release - they are entirely nonexistent.
- Thank you to anyone who responds in advance...but, also, i ask nicely that you don't come in here and say, "you're crazy, I build/see them all the time!". Because...no...just no. I see maybe ONE emplacement every 10 games...and it just seems out of place and always built by a noob. If you see them more, then I suppose I need to get out of random 4 vs 4s or something. |
Man, I hate the axis more than anyone, but with the brits arriving and their super tanks hitting the field - the last damn thing the germans need is ANY nerf to any one of their battle tanks.
The panther performs well, no doubt about it. But it also doesn't cost 100 manpower and 25 fuel either. It costs a good amount to get onto the field and it's performance should run parallel to that.
I'm no expert. But it's safe to say the panther is perfectly fine where it is at. |
The brits really aren't hard to deal with at all, their dominance is a learn to play issue on part with the axis players. They're noobs and they just need to learn how to flank and pop smoke.
(God, that never gets old. Lol)
GO BRITS!
BUT yes, you are 100% correct. The Brits bring some serious firepower to the table and now, with assistance from the other allied countries, the 4 vs 4 win dscrepancies will HOPEFULLY be lowered. Only time will tell. |
I am down to absolutely offer my fictitious girlfriend to him as tribute. One night (anything goes) for each new USF commander involving Rangers, Thompsons and/or Pershings. |
Gentleman, I am confused. There is a flurry of information about releases and patches and updates, and I have no idea what's going on. I just downloaded an update (which I assumed incorporated the brits into the game)...when will the other stuff drop: The new commanders, units, etc? |
Gentleman, as a dedicated allied player who has suffered through more axis abuse than I would like to admit - the AVRE does not need 1600 hit points and that large amount of armor. It's slightly ridiculous.
With that being said, I am nothing but the happiest person alive to see all the axis players crying their little eyes out. I don't know why though...the AVRE is nothing special...
...just flank it and pop smoke - noob, l2p. Hahahhahah |
In light of the British dropping - understandably - everyone wants to try the newly added army. With that being said, the wait times to now get ino a game have risen substantially. With everyone wanting to play british, it has now led to no one even being to play a game as axis OR allies...
I am proposing a compromise of sorts so that we can all have an increased opportunity to test the British and just play a game in general.
Alternate your games as axis and allied, that way games can actually be played and we all won't be sitting at the waiting screen for 23 minutes waiting to get a game in, and, so that everyone would have an equal opportunity to fight as the British.
A man can dream, right? |
Make sure it isn't behind any shot blockers, example, trees, buildings,
and also make sure you don't accidentally stop or move it during it's barrage,
other then that I never had that problem.
It isn't that big of a deal, but it really only shoots one shot. If it is working for you, consider yourself lucky.
I have visually confirmed it to only expel one rocket from the tube. All remaining five rockets have an animation like they're working, but nothing comes out.
Anyways, I was just wondering what the deal was. Thanks guys! |
I am 99.75% sure the stukas are bugged and/or not working properly for the OKW. They only shoot one round out of the barrage and I believe the recharging isn't functioning as expected as well. Has anyone else stumbled upon this during today's games? Or am I just losing my mind? |
