Could we please leave Osttruppen the same as how they are on the live patch. They are already pretty cost effective currently and I don't think they need further buffs. Maybe you could keep the buffs in the 2nd iteration of the patch but I definitely wouldn't allow them to spam cover like Conscripts at Vet 1 and I think the LMG should have a later timing than the 6-man upgrade for Assault Grenadiers. Osttruppen are very viable right now and I think further buffs will just lead to them absolutely dominating the meta game similar to last patch. |
I would make the Air Supply Operation ability able to be dropped in the base sector, plus I tried using it and I didn't get the AT gun from it either. The Universal Carrier also doesn't cost the 5 fuel it costs on live, not sure if that was intended or not. I think the UC with upgrades is definitely worth the fuel cost but a vanilla UC is probably ok for 260 mp. I understand UC upgrades are a bit harder to come by with the Medical Kits being made 45 muni instead of 30. |
The new Raid Section is good but the reinforce cost for some reason is 33 instead of the regular Tommies 28 not sure if that's intended or not. The Recovery Sappers are also more pop cap than the regular 5-man Sappers. (It's a UI bug they are 6 pop it just says 7) Can't upgrade them with both the Flamer and Sweeper on the current build. |
Does the balance team intend to have the Fusiliers and Volks at the same reinforcement cost? Hopefully they are fixing the reinforcement bug on the Fusiliers in the test patch as well. |
When I checked the upgrade took both weapon slots and they could not pick up an lmg.
Then I think the current version is bugged, I know they can't be reinforced for some reason. |
You guys do realize that Fusiliers have an extra weapon slot currently in the Test Patch right. The G43 only takes up 1 spot currently and they can pick up another weapon. They pretty much just reverted Fusiliers to how they are on the live patch currently. If the G43's take up both slots I don't believe that is intended as the most recent patch notes stated they were reverting all changing to make Fusiliers the same as how they are in the live game. |
I would be really careful about buffing Ostruppen again, I know they probably still won't be absolute top tier in 3's and 4's but making them viable in team games typically makes them broken as fuck in 1v1's. The previous iteration already gave them some massive buffs allowing them to get LMG's early at BP2 instead of BP3, improving their accuracy with the LMG, and allowing them to build sandbags immediately along with build speed at Vet 1 similar to Conscripts. Giving them even more accuracy makes them too cost efficient. They are a 16 reinforce cost squad, 15 with Tier 4. I think the only faction cost wise that could trade effectively at all would be Soviets with 7-man but USF and Brits are going to bleed a bit too much having to charge Ostruppen who are going to be entrenched in green cover. Ostruppen are good on the current patch in 1v1 so I wouldn't look to give them much else since they will definitely be the meta again. |
Panzerfusiliers can't reinforce in the current version of the mod for some reason. They also still have an extra weapon slot after upgrading G43's. |
I'll be honest I kind of wish they didn't replace the G43 on the upgrade with a STG, I feel like that kind of made the LMG generally the better choice but I think you can still go for 1-2 5 man upgrades if you get 3-4 Gren squads. I don't really like the current buff in the Commander Patch to G43 Grens either. I feel the extra received accuracy is going to make them extremely durable at Vet 3 but they still aren't going to have much in the way of firepower. Instead of the 10% received accuracy I would prefer maybe a 3rd G43 but keeping the price at 60 and 2 CP so its similar to the SVT's firepower wise. Otherwise take the current G43's make them 1 CP and tone down SVT's instead. |
Don't know if this is intended or not but the Fusiliers reinforce cost in the mod is now 24 instead of 25. |
