Thread: The IS2 is not dead!8 Sep 2015, 21:53 PM I must warn you it is a long one, so if you watch, you may wish to skip the campier parts for the sake of your own sanity, but otherwise lots of action, many explosions, good squad preservation on his part and well done for keeping cool all game. Features some good Mechanised Assault use vs some more mediocre Shock Rifle abuse, some great engagements with MGs, AT guns, a vet three mortar, many explosions and lots of firepower, good harassment of flanks and exposed positions, and oddly, mortar smoke. If you thought Soviets were cheesy, this is the cheesiest end to any game I have ever seen. It involves a mortar and an IS2, and you'll have to watch to find out more. Thread: The Pio spam is finally defeated6 Sep 2015, 21:47 PM Very well played to my opponent, he used a curious doctrine that I didn't see coming at all so well done for trying things out. Was on the back foot from the start with the house rush but game goes on for a decent length of time after, featuring lots of Ostruppen, Panzergrenadiers, Pioneers, MGs and a few too many Command Tanks. I know what went wrong, getting hasty although I had the VP advantage, not buying tier 1 (because of my stupid build I'm trying), getting too hung up on the central house, and a few micro mistakes. The mines could have clawed the game back but I didn't mine quite enough. Good job, and nice to see Tactical Support used for the first time, and in 1v1! In: Replays
Thread: My big fat American throw6 Sep 2015, 12:06 PM Interesting game on Einhoven Country vs a fairly competent Ostheer player, well played, nice to see double Panthers in 1v1 (though it did surprise me). Nicely microed by him, good dynamic setup, held firm even with only a quarter of the map. Features large tank battles and a lot of fire. In: Replays

Thread: Low FPS in Lobby Screens 3 Sep 2015, 22:10 PM I get pretty shocking FPS in the menus because my hardware is awful, the Ardennes Assault menu has much reduced UI and thus ran much more fluid. I was dead certain Relic were going to change the UI when Brits came out to be more British and "down an' dirty" but seems I was wrong. Game just needs serious optimisation. In: Hardware and Tech
