Low FPS in Lobby Screens

Hi guys, I just switched monitors, and my coh2 lobby screens seem to now be capped at a stutteringly low 10fps. Has anyone else had this issue?

Is your graphics card detecting your new monitor? Sounds like the computer is defaulting to basic drivers for your display. What kind of monitor and graphics card are you using?

I get this all the time. It's pretty annoying. I expect the menu to be lightweight and fast as lightning.

I'm running an R9 Fury and a BenQ XL2730Z. It works great once the game has actually loaded. The 10 FPS cap is only in the lobby. I did not have this problem with the same gfx card and my old monitor, so maybe it's something in the monitor's setting? Weird.

Edit: I might add that in windowed mode, I get about 25 fps in the lobby.

That's odd, and like Ami said - it may just be a glitch on the devs part right now.

I get pretty shocking FPS in the menus because my hardware is awful, the Ardennes Assault menu has much reduced UI and thus ran much more fluid. I was dead certain Relic were going to change the UI when Brits came out to be more British and "down an' dirty" but seems I was wrong.

Game just needs serious optimisation.

I have this same issue of the menu being incredibly slow (borderless full windowed). I believe the Limited Free Trial (Alpha) had some of the data optimizations as the menus were noticeably faster.

Have you tried reverting to an older driver? That fixed it for me. WHQL drivers from Nvidia always screw up my games and their settings etc. Perhaps you could give it a try with the drivers for your card?
