Thread: Future Balance Items by Relic24 Nov 2013, 09:04 AM i dont know if pgrens with schrecks should be a hard counter to t70s , they are supposed to be a hard counter against soviet t4 , that said i think the 250 clowncar should get a speed buff to close in with the t70 a lot quicker . Thread: Future Balance Items by Relic22 Nov 2013, 12:48 PM I d just like to point out that nerfing the t70 and increasing the build times of soviet buildings is going to hurt those ppl who DONT play soviet industry the most not vice versa . if the overall output of the t70 is decreased ( which by the way is very questionable , many ppl have expressed serious arguments that it wont ) then t70 spammers will just play a bit more cautiously with it till they get a second and operate them in pairs ( which according to some pros is the suitable way to operate them ) . The only difference i can see is t70s being less effective against units on retreat . Another issue to be answered is that t70s have a very small window of opportunity as far as resources go which means that if you havent won a substancial advantage in the early game you ll be facing a p4 with no active counters ( all that is ofcourse if you dont have sov industry ) . I like the historical relevance discussions about whether PziV or T34 was "better", but some people just flat out have lost the plot. The races thing is a hold over from people who are more used to talking about Starcraft or Warcraft where "race" is a thing that's relevant to talk about unlike a WW 2 game where it can be considered offensive. Obviously we're all humans, and thus race isn't something that we need to be talking about. We should be saying "faction" instead. Good to hear that . I guessed myself it would be a hold over from SC . I just mentioned it because i dont want hotheaded ppl getting a hold of it and flinging accusations left and right . In: Lobby

Unbalanced /Untested/OP/UP Commanders are NOT fine. Give me some balanced DLC and I will buy every motherfucking one. Twice now, the community has had to endure untested/unbalanced DLC Commanders that needed immediate nerfing. This CANNOT happen a third time. I am sorry nullist but even if the dlc commanders were perfect there is still one more issue to be settled . There has been ample criticism at the devs for trying to keep the game fresh and stirring by giving us new commanders due to the flaws coh2 has deep in its fundamental thoughprocess and that is some criticism i endorse myself . So in my opinion i paid 50$ which is fit for a full priced AAA title at the beginning and i have to pay another 50$ in dlc to enjoy playing the game just for the first year ?? Iam sorry but if someone has paid 100$ for coh2 then they have paid for 2 AAA games and relic has delivered none . Now i know they dont expect us to buy all commanders but giving us the bare basics and some additional candy for multiplayer and making all the good stuff either overpriced or normally priced but bundled up so to get the good stuff you ll have to buy the ones your not as interested in is not a custommer friendly policy or one i want to spend my money on . And now that i think about it the way coh2s meta is stale you might just need every available commander if you want to exclusively play coh2 for a year . In: COH2 Gameplay

We're aware of it, but I believe that's also the thread where I'm called a Nazi which is not quite what we mean by constructive. I don't feel like arguing with people, so while we're definitely taking in feedback when it is constructive, we're allowing conversations to develop naturally within the community without interceding at this point. i read the posts and i cant recall anyone calling you a nazi otherwise i myself would have told the person who did to take that back . On the other hand i have watched some streams and posts made by relic devs on which coh2 factions are reffered to as races . Please tell the people in question to stop using that term especially when reffering to coh2 which deals with ww2 in which i am sure you know racially induced genocides occured . They dont give 2 shits about the community , if they did they would have taken in and at least reviwed the feedback we have given them since the beta , but no , they chose to ignore both us and every lesson coh taught them over 7yrs . Instead they are revisiting the failed experiment of CoH : O but with a worse basic product they deserve to fail again untill they learn from their mistakes . In: Lobby

At that point i just dont give a shit , they might release sqaud of panzergenadiers with 6 models if they want i wont be surprised , i played again after a few days today to give the game another chance but no first match i was conspammend to oblivion because i wanted to play combined arms as if i didnt know and then i got the sov industry and my fucking screck car could not even put a dent in the t70s . Fuck that shit ... But they spotted a business based on continuation fees because. Contrary the flat purchase price of games that don't bring much income. The big money is in continuation fees. Just look at World of Warcraft. if they want WoW ammounts of money they should make a game of comparable quality first , then worry about monetising it not the other way around In: COH2 Gameplay
