Thread: A comprehensive theory about where Relic is going...9 Dec 2013, 22:10 PM I am fine with the game being team oriented because of the added layers of strategy and synergy it adds to the currently dry meta and while i will agree that luftwaffles are a support oriented doctrine intended for team games i think that TA and SI are str8 stupid and dont deserve to be in any serious strategy game . Unfortunately the lack of a proper game lobby hinders the team aspect of the game and lack of a proper replay system and observer mod additionally hinders the casting of larger games by single casters which is already very difficult to do so . Srsly i ve been lead to believe coh2 was built around telling war stories and the absolutely most important things that are needed to do so , the observer system and the replay features take a back sit to brown snow ???? I know they are not mutually exclussive but i also know i d trade an anouncement setting those features in stone 10 times over the brown colored snows which by the way if applied in a historical manner ( basically mudflats ) will make the game unplayble . Lets not deny the over effetiveness of an ability, just because someone isnt using it to its full effect and likes their priviledge so much they cant see what it does to the opponent. if you pay 80 munitions and you dont kill the tank then you will have waisted a good 3 mins of saving munitions before MT and another 3 after if you intend on using it quickly again which is a pretty big deal , also the reckon provided is overated i know it provides some LoS but that is only useful as far as buildings are concerned which is pretty useles info as you know whats coming . If you wont to see enemies units and positions which you can with RR then MT is utterly useless . I think this ability is just roflstronk, ever gone partisan doctrine(the pay one) get 2 su76 and a partisan tank hunter squad? gl hf p4, you wont have any infantry support and those su76's will fuck you up pretty fast with marked vehicle if you dare Kappa I can understand what you mean but imo that means the payed doctrine(s) need to be changed not the ability itself . Anyway there are far more rolfsrtonk soviet abilities and units that need to be changed before MT comes to copnsideration . In: COH2 Balance

Srsly if there is one group of ppl that has recieved 0 attention is thje people who play this game competitively . And whats the problem with boycotting 5 mins t70 or the i win button with tiger ? That's what makes the game special and interesting. The changes you seem to ask for would destroy the very character of CoH. coh1 was great pricesely because the RNG had a lot less of an effect on battles and a calculated risk was as good as the calculation , i have seen plenty and i meant every letter of it examples in coh2 where a well calculated risk goes to hell because the RNG god didnt want it while dumb and stupid decisions like ram can have a profound effect for example against a tiger and no ramming a tiger or at nading from the front is not a calculated risk , its an act of desperation . Skill planes getting multiple squad whipes even when you were spot on retreating is not a calculated risk , mollies getting lots of crits isnt a calculated risk its spamm same as con and grenspam , it will pay off at some point through weight of numbers alone , mortars getting squad whipes esp with the precisions shot crap isnt a calculated risk either .
