I am serious. Rostov has environmental charms and ice and weather, the Island is a quite special VP and it's fun to play. Sittard Summer is like... why don't they just throw Lyon in there? Rush, and if that fails, get to popcap quick and let the bombardments begin and collision detection work its butt off with turning armor and everyone in everyones way. Such super fun. Over and over and over again in matches that last forever and you only see the enemy by recon planes. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Remove Sittard Summer from auto-map!6 Apr 2015, 21:54 PM It is truly unbelievable how Rostov, a great map, was ditched and this Scheldt-like map was put in. I have never before vetoed a map, but I will veto this one. I refuse to play this shitmap ever again. I never did understand why Scheldt was played so much. Every game turns out the same every time and are hour long endeavours and that's what will happen with Sittard Summer as well. It can be used for comp stomp testing, but that's it. Did nobody look at this map before approval? How did THIS map make it to automap??? In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: PTRS now OP?6 Apr 2015, 20:32 PM I spammed PTRS in my first match back from easter holiday and my conscripts murdered most things that they encountered. They tripple-vetted soon and then they killed tanks and obers and most things. A KT came by without much support and that was quickly overwhelmed and killed too. I'll stick with allies until the next patch or if I want a challenge I'll play axis. In: COH2 Balance

Every now and then when playing axis starting a match an opponent writes "Die filthy nazi scum!" and I ask my friend if we should maybe inform him that we don't actually sympahise with nazis, that we are only playing a faction as part of a game. I switched to USF then because I found OKW to be far too easy. Here you go And I jumped into a 4v4 game as USF (long time no see) with randoms on the wrong side of Rostov a day Before patch and won. And that was with armor Company and bought myself an M10 too. It killed a panther albeit in co-op with other tanks. So either my skills are godlike OR it's not so very difficult to play USF as people think on this forum. In: COH2 Balance

The best players are going to win lots and the worst players are going to lose lots, so waving around '+21!' is a pointless exercise. It is abnormal. The best players are outliers. Using dots, a symmetrical bell shaped standard deviation curve starts to crystalize at sample size 30+. So, not requiring sample of "limitless". What elchino7 writes about varience of 1-10% sounds reasonable. In: COH2 Gameplay

Yes it's not a perfect example, I agree. It would've been if the other side could've built PTRS cons as well. And then the most skilled PTRS cons player would've won (if it is THAT op, haven't tried it yet). I doubt nothing can be done about it though. Then the opposition should be doing that. Like I wrote, I wish for balance changes as well, but the recurring attitude sticks in my eyes. Because the state of the game is the state of the game and whoever playes the best wins.
