I don't understand why people are taking this way too seriously. Between getting upset and raging and crying OP etc between various unis and factions. I am currently lost or confused on how/why people are getting worked up over a game that has a high amount of RNG and all things random. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the game is bad or lacking this or that.
However I do believe that the game has a large amount of randomness attached to it, and it should be treated as such. Getting upset or worked up over a game of chance is like getting worked up over the weather. It'll rain, it'll shine, but it's useless/pointless to get worked up over things to which you can't control. I really believe the sooner people come to an understanding that the game is intended to be like this the sooner people will come to it's acceptance the better things will be. Of course you could always compare the game to another game, and get upset all over again. But that's just it, it's a different game, accept it.
If you lived in a area that had tons of crazy weather patterns and hated it, you'd generally move to another area or city. Perhaps a place like Southern California where it's sunny all the time or Seattle where it rains all the time. Do the same thing here, if the randomness bothers you, switch games and stay with it.
Anyways sorry for the rant, but thanks for reading.
I for one like all things random, keeps things interesting and fascinating. |
What do you think the average age of the community is? I'm 12 years old btw. |
There are not enough concurrent players to warrant splitting the multiplayer into two queues. Same goes for adding a tiered or league hierarchy in the matchmaking. Players don't want to search for 30 minutes to get matched.
This issue is inextricably linked to the size of the playerbase. Fair matchmaking is only possible with huge successful videogames.
I would rather wait 30 mins and masterbate in between and play good games than play Instant Stomp Games. |
Did you ever date a girl who just graduated college and was really hot. And the true reality was that you were only dating her because she was both young and hot and you were listening to the head that resides below your belt. Granted I was only like 3-4 years older but we were in different worlds. And at the time you have a pretty good well paying job and she views you as either being steady/stable or a sugar daddy so you decided what the hey and decided to try things out. But then you just sat there during your dates or in bed going through the usual motions and were having a great good old time, but then eventually you begin to ask yourself 'Where the Hell is this going?!?!?!?'
Yeah that's exactly what is happening here. My suggestions are to just enjoy the moment and when it ends it ends, find another when that time comes and try not to get too attached. Otherwise even more problems are bound to arise. Just remember that you were only there to have a good time, nothing more nothing less. |
I hope they keep the game in the current state it's the best way to keep it casual cool and to allow the little guy the ability to beat the big guys even if it's a narrow margin and just one time, it's still that one time.
This way we will all have great stories to tell our kids. Even if it's just one time* |
You should consider the weather as well. As Spring has arrived for most people in various parts of the world things change. People come out of hibernation of winter and are spending more time outdoors either doing things, doing chores (Mowing the lawn), visiting friends, and just being outdoors and having a good time doing whatever.
Oh did I mention that GTA V came out recently to PC as well? |
Sadly, if you read the entire post, you would've known that this has nothing to do with maphacking...
That's why I said no Map Hacking Accusations were made |
This thread, like any other COH2 thread only has three things that really matter, who won, who lost, and were map hacks involved?
Von Won, Romeo Loss, No Map Hack Accusations were made.
Moving on to the next round. |
FYI, romeo apologized directly in his stream AND THEN THANKED HIM FOR BRING IT UP IN THIS FORM after they hugged it out.
Von Wins! End of Discussion. |
