I would think about 60 to 75 ammo for the strafe, and about 120 or so for the OKW one

Does no one read here? It does damage guys, it reliably kills support weapons and even wipes squads when standing still, like I said, it targets a single Squad and pins the rest.

the USF strafe pins AND does damage to squads caught in the line of fire. the ostheer strafe only pins and deals NO damage. the damage is actually really significant and can easily wipe low health squads in the line of fire. if you increase the damage too much, you run the risk of wiping squads that are at 75% of hp, and if the damage is too high, you can wipe full health squads. do you really want that? do you really want for a strafe to wipe a full health squad?
The strafe already one hits squads and is easily worth it's price. I advise people to use it on support weapon which it wipes. Though it always seems to target just one squad for the damage and supresses the others. |
People argueing against side upgrades for OKW make me laugh, this is rediculous.
OKW is going to need to pay for a couple upgrades imo. Shrecks, nades and some abilities like the free smoke on the AAHT as well. |
There are just a couple of things that OKW has that are stronger then allied counter parts and even Ost counter parts right now. Not to mention with almost no cost differences.
For example, Pathfinders / Jeagers
Ost P4 / OKW P4
Assault Engineers / Sturmpioneers
Ober LMG / Gren LMG / Allied LMG
Demo / Goliath
Not to mention the veterancy bonuses and/or some timings units can arrive, which nullifies some tiers. Soviet T1, LT tier USF and making teching to Bofor way too high a risk in 1s.
But imo the biggest thing right now is the micro difference between OKW and other factions, I've never seen so many braindead blobs that have such massive AT + AI before the OKW buff. It's almost like you get forced to just spam and blob while playing this faction thanks to the design. |
Now that I've been using RE's alot, they could use some more accuracy. Damage doesn't matter if you cant hit anything. |
Now we can give all factions the same thing, tech all tiers as Ost = call in Tiger. Tech all tiers as USF = Pershing call in. etc etc

It's what you get when you design a faction with a stock heavy tank.
OKW is the only faction that doesn't need any doctrines right now.
It's what you get when Relic designs a faction around a resource penalty and then removing that said penalty.
OKW needed a buff, I agree, but now we're just left with a faction that has counters to everything it needs. |
