Sorry for creating the thread, there was a thread with a similar problem but only with own created maps.
I have the problem described in the following thread, but with ALL maps i downloaded from the workshop:

please note, im not a good player, but maybe this helps:
i just had some success with sov by going for the commander with the heavy mortar, backing the front of them up with mgs and kept my conscripts always near the supportweapons. In combination with that i build an early zis gun and was able to do some pressure with the combination of maxin suppression, heavy mortars and the zis barrage.
Moved them constantly and often surprised the enemy with a counterattack supported by all of them.

Hi Guys,
i just faced a problem with public custom games. When joining a custom game as when creating one, very often me or the player who joins the game, won't autoload the workshop map chosen for the game.
Having this problem since the release of the "maps will autoload from the workshop when you join a custom game"-feature.
I searched some time for other players having the problem, but couldnt find a solution for it. Its so annoying when you see a cool map in the workshop, want to give it a try vs other players via create custom game.
Anyone of you have/had the same problem or can give me some advice how it can maybe fixed?
Let me know if you got some tips!

Hey Guys,
i watched the SNF videos on the CoH2.org youtubechannel with a truckload of lulz.
The commentaries from Ami&Ipkai are just hilarious and made me laugh so hard very often.
For some time now it seems there are coming no new videos. :'(
Would be awesome to see more videos like this on the youtubechannel.
I just thought you could involve the CoH.org community more into the "commentary-video/replay-thing", maybe something like this:
- CoH2 players upload their awesome/funny replays to coh2.org, (maybe some nice 2v2s, 3v3s).
- The replay with the most "likes?" maybe during a month, will be observed by you guys, making a commentary-video of it, like the SNF-Series.
I know this is a lot of work for you, with the video and audio recording, but i think this may become an additional awesome highlight for the coh2.org community.

Anyway this community is very friendly (Toxic), but dont pick an side and talk balance at the same time or you might end up like Cruzz, who is confirmed to be an Allied & Axis fanboy, so watch streams and have fun at the game, welcome!

I think the best solution is probably where players are actually forced to spend fuel, otherwise the issue may not change in some cases and it's simply a further delay.
I think Solution 1 + Solution 2 (but not as extreme) would be the best option imo. Also agree that cool down timers need to be increased. I think around 6-8 minutes would be enough.
I would like to see the system changing like this, maybe a bit adjusted (in terms of balance) to make a mix of teching and call-ins interesting. |

reading the forums for some time now and just decided to create an account. I was really surprised how (mostly) nice and polite you guys are discussing and answering questions to each other. If you compare this forum to some other game's communitys, this is the heaven on the internet!!! ; )
