I think we can see the issue here, that not only do some OKW units at Vet 5 not have as much durability, but the ones that do have barely more than basic allied infantry. It simply does not make sense. And of course this is assuming you are even able to get some of those expensive elite infantry all the way to Vet 5. If you compare the situation at Vet 3 only it's a lot more dire.

There also is a weird way in how OKW vet is laid out were some units don't get any offensive buffs till they hit a very high level of vet like Fallsch (only get better at killing at Vet 4) or to a lesser extent JLI and the MG34 (only get better at killing starting at Vet 3). Then you have another form of that were you have entire levels taken up with useless crap like Med kits, concussion nades, and sprint (this doesn't mean Fuss don't scale well I just think it looks and feels silly and encourages bad play, also the Sprint only really makes you 1 speed faster so eh). If OKW's entire thing is supposed to be far superior Vet then it needs to actually have far superior vet, because right now nothing about the faction scales nearly as well because on later vehicles the game doesn't last long enough for an impact and the requirements are stupidly high (there's also the whole thing with KT vet being atrocious but w/e). A solution to this is just rip out vet 5 and cram all the levels in to 3 so you have more reliable scaling over the normal course of a match or just put more stuff in period. In: COH2 Balance |

They forgot to put the normal accuracy modifiers against basically everything on the British sniper. He has perfect accuracy versus retreating units and units in buildings. (Basically the unit is bugged) Again, this highlights that Brits should have not been allowed in the tournament at all, OR it should have been delayed significantly to allow Relic to fix this shit, like the shear amount of bugs is staggering and I keep adding to my list each day. I know the OCF organizers were between a rock and a hard place but I still don't think it's smart to hand out thousands of dollars when so much is currently broken. In: Lobby |

USF has literally 1 semi-weak commander. OKW has like 3 (Elite Armored, Luftwaffe, Fort), all of those are nonviable because they are either A. Buggy as hell or B. Just underwhelming and invalidated by current meta. Right now there is nothing really special to OKW, since they decided to give British units extremely powerful vet that easily beats out what OKW gets in several area's. All you have is a fuel penalty and trucks. (IS have 0.528 at vet 2, that's better received accuracy at vet two then almost all OKW units at Vet 5). In: COH2 Balance |

Why would you ever get Shreks versus Brits? Volks have little to no use at all versus IS, you need Pfuss or elite infantry to handle them. You just get 2 Volks to throw incendiary nades at buildings or cover. In: COH2 Balance |

Also the fact that OKW has to spam call in infantry instead of making use of their stock infantry sucks and wasn't that the entire point of buffing Riflemen and Cons? So Soviets and USF didn't NEED elite infantry 100% of the time? It blows that you can't ever going anything but Scavenge or Breakthrough and maybe on occasion Luftwaffe in 1v1 or maybe Fort. Spec Op's works in 2's but thats more because infiltration nades than anything (as well as IR StG's). In: COH2 Balance |

Cooldown and reload are much smaller contributors to DPS than accuracy and damage. The fact of the matter is the extremely large buff to Riflemen and Conscript vet made the one feature Volks had (superior scaling) obsolete. This isn't even touching the the fact that British Vet is equally potent for only 3 levels. A smaller pie sliced 5 times doesn't actually give you more Pie than a large pie sliced 3 times. At vet 5, they still cannot beat Vet 3 Riflemen or Cons 1 on 1. And by that I mean it swings so much in the Conscript and Riflemens favor they can start at max range and run all the way up to the Volk's in CQC and win. It's even more of a joke on Urban maps were you fight almost entirely at mid or CQC. In: COH2 Balance |

Barring spending months in Alpha testing to change the entire faction from the ground up so you don't have 1 infantry unit that does literally everything it's going to remain boring. And like I said; OKW is being propped up by ISG spam. I have a lot of sympathy for USF players I really do, Iv been playing it a decent amount lately (god help me fuck playing Ostheer right now) and it just suffers in the extreme from Relic not putting a lot of thought into the factions most basic design. All I'm saying is that we see this kind of thread every week, sometimes a new one every day! And we need to give it a rest and fix the issues that are making the game almost nigh unplayable right now. In: COH2 Balance |
