Well considering you have exactly zero proof of my "newbieness" while nobody even knows if you play this game anymore I wouldn't exactly say your speaking from a position of authority. His point that 1-2 Ass grens is stupid and early picking the doc is stupid is 100% correct, ass grens and HT Pgrens are a HUGE noob trap. Does every post you make need to contain an insult? Anyway; on topic Mechanized Assault without the StuG E would be garbage. Ass grens are expensive and scale like ass, the Pgren call in is just a waste of fuel. StuG E's into Tigers supported with PaK's works great versus USF, not really much to it other than that. Not really, many AT's at least focus on repeatable strategies that use combined arms between the players. In randoms it's a different story, were you mostly need to play by the meta as much as you can. AT's give you freedom to do unorthodox stuff because you can use allies to support you, and said unorthodox strats can surprise the enemy, but ultimately in randoms you don't have that luxary so you need to play far more formulaic. The best technique I've found is to maintain a constant APM throughout the entire game, even when it's not necessary. It's much easier to react quickly to unexpected situations when playing quickly is natural and not just something you do occasionally. It's good to keep your units moving around anyway to avoid people figuring out were your unit clusters are and bombarding them. When I want to keep my APM I just begin to entrench quickly and move my units around between covers. In: Lobby |

The JPIV has the least mobility of any medium tank in the game, one simply needs to use it to understand how painful it is to micro with it's piss poor turning and acceleration. Not to mention the fact that it can't traverse it's gun. And this is a thread about gameplay, it's in the gameplay forum. And yes more mobile vehicles with better acceleration and turning are easier to micro because they handle better and react faster to your commands. Do you think keeping Jadgtigers effective is easy? No, it handles like ass and is slow as garden, meaning you need to baby sit it to keep it moving and in range while also being ready to reverse it at a moments notice. Ostheer T3 has 3 big issues; The Jackson, the overpriced nature of T3, and the lack of viability of the StuG III Ausf G and the PIV Varient Ostwind.
