Thread: USF Underpowered. I HATE axis. 23 Jul 2015, 07:45 AM USF meta encourages blobbing, blob counters are now really common. What USF is going through is what OKW went threw after the Ober/Shrek nerf. Like Iv yet to face a top 200 USF player who didn't eventually just blob a huge army of Para's with LMG's or rifles with LMG's or BAR's + some zooks sprinkled in across the map killing enemy infantry in like 2 seconds before his army eventually gets evaporated by a Sturmtiger or he runs into an MG wall. Meta shifts suck, they require you to relearn the game essentially and USF meta has been stale for so long that I think people are having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that USF as a faction is gimmicky as hell and said gimmicks make it boring to play and fucking awful to play against. Hopefully Relic will eventually learn with USF what they did with OKW and do some redesigning to make things more interesting. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: M5 Quadrush23 Jul 2015, 07:38 AM There isn't any HT in the game that approaches the M5 in anti light armor ability. You can rush an M5 across the map into the enemies base to kill is Stuka's and take almost no damage. It needs a set up time badly. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: So what about new strategies?23 Jul 2015, 07:35 AM -All the ML-20 commanders (even the irregulars one) are p good, especially the ones with guards. -Having stuka bombing strike or LeFH to do counter battery fire (don't use counter barrage it's shit and you can't control it) is now mandatory for Ostheer -As OKW and Ostheer getting an AT gun as early as possible is a must versus Soviets, was already a must versus Americans. -OKW has very little reason to get any tank bigger than a PIV, JPIV out preforms the Panther in AT role by a light year. If you want AT just pay the 175 fuel for a medi-truck and a JPIV. -T34/85's are quite easy to get in numbers, also easy to keep around. -M5 can kill light vehicles incredibly easily, so you need something that's proof to bullets to actually kill it. -Lend Lease is extremely good. Counterattack Tactics is a lot better now to because the KV1 has a long like time before heavy AT hits the field. -Getting another sturmpioneer in the opening minutes of the game can really help deal with allied infantry in CQC, especially now that everyone just spams con's and maxims into M5's. -No seriously the OKW PIV is the most efficient OKW tank by a light year, there is literally zero reason to ever get a KT when two PIV's will do much better and are much easier to keep alive. -Command PIV is extremely good, helps deal with arty spammers and helps make pushes as Ostheer a lot easier in the late game were Ostheer squads are really fragile. -T34/76's are still useless at 80 fuel, just a nice way to feed veterancy to your enemy. Your much better off spending the 80 fuel on something else. just my first impressions. In: COH2 Gameplay

Trust is a two way street, and the Soviets had every reason to be pissed about all the extreme anti-communist rhetoric coming out of the United States and Britain even when the Soviets were their allies. The west also really heeing and humming about prosecuting war criminals/nazi's put a really bad taste in the USSR's mouth. Especially since we built our entire space program around nazi scientists and technology lol. In: Lobby

Thread: Allies OPIE OPIE!23 Jul 2015, 01:51 AM I can say with certainty that playing OKW this patch is a billion times more fun than playing as Ostheer. As Ostheer you are constantly behind the curve, as OKW you can always counter what the enemy has on the map. In: COH2 Balance
