I think your reading to much into what I'm trying to say. There's been a huge meta shake up and a lot of people who abused old strats are seeing those stop working. Like I really don't doubt USF has troubles right now, and I support adding stuff like mortars to make things less boring. It's just that in my 2v2 perspective when facing off against USF the top players I'm facing tend to blob a lot and well blobbing doesn't work as well as it used to. In 1v1 shit's probably a different story, if your experience differs to mine well your the better player and I'll defer to you on it. edit: pls no bully cruzz In: COH2 Balance

Nobody is saying it's not better than it was before, but I would gladly trade it's shells fired for more damage like the ML-20 which is far more destructive. Thread: Broken balance USF vs OST23 Jul 2015, 20:55 PM I think a lot of really shit USF players who rose to the top last patch blobbing like nuts are finally getting kicked down and it's causing angst. I mean I just faced a top 200 team while being stuck with a new player and we won because the double USF players (we were double OKW) literally couldn't help themselves when it came to blobbing or just running there tanks all over the map in swarms trying to hunt shit. Their blobs got naded and wiped by my PIV, they lost all their shermans when they ran over like 3 mines and died before figuring out they couldn't pen the armor of my PIV's. In: COH2 Balance

Because other than that I wouldn't say they have much more than axis. Oh and hey if you want to make axis 5 man squads increase allied small arms dps to compensate, otherwise you just want easy engagements. If you adjust the received accuracy and DPS of the squads it would be fine. But Soviets have waaaaaay more squad wipe capable units than OKW or Ostheer do mostly because Soviets just have a fuckload of artillery. -Cheap rocket artillery that saturates a huge area -cheap assault gun with a barrage -demo's obviously -extremely powerful howitzers -ISU Again I ask; were are these mythical Axis only players? What does this post even mean? I play Ostheer, Soviets, and OKW. I don't like playing USF because it's boring as shit and a terribly designed faction. And the most amount of explosives lay with the Soviet's. It's not just a matter of Allies having bigger squads, it's a matter of insta wipe point and click adventure shit all being concentrated in 1 faction. The Rackten can be suppressed and only has 50 range. It can garrison for a reason; it's not an offensive unit. And neither are shreks. They are both meant to defend your flanks. Arguing like they are the perfect counter to enemy TD's is assuming your opponent can't micro his shit. And yeah, I probably won't. But Oz asserted that and lol he lost despite getting an autowin side of the map. Overconfidence... Its good against IS-2's tought The JPIV costs the same is much easier to keep around.
