Yes sure, I totally agree with you about ISU but in this case I still think that you have a huge advantage in teams games with a single sturmtiger and mates supporting you.
Team games being broken and insane has been par for the course for a while now. |
remember when we did the whole lets shit ourselves in the first week because the win ratios suddenly went out of whack and the very next week things normalized.
but I guess logic has no place in the land of conformation bias. |
Here's the sitution:
lol of course you ignore all the nerfs OKW got. |
and Zis dont get wiped from 3 tank shots. and don't need 4 shots to kill a puma, 6 to p4, 9 to tiger.
not to mention no turretness makes chasing on nothing but a straight lane hard and chasing around a corner, suicide.
the matter of fact is that there is a clear advantage of having zis over su76 and vice versa. -40 damage and +mobility don't just cancel each other out.
The SU-76's barrage is free, and the fact it can actually move without a pack up time means it can more reliably get shots in. Yes there is still merit in getting a ZiS gun but SU-76's can provide you with almost all your AT considering how fast they hit the field.

It's not really about power it's rather about fun. USF is by far the less fun faction to play.
In a game the fun factor is what matter the most.
Thanks.
Well yeah USF IS not fun to play, I'm not denying that.
One game proves nothing. Angreifein played badly that game, and lost. Heres an example you will obviously understand. Just because the quad rush is OP doesn't mean it's unbeatable. I'm sure you have beaten a quadrush in many of your axis games.
Yes, but I'm not here saying the Quad mount has literally destroyed the game for me.
Point is, USF is completely hopeless this patch. A tourney seems to be coming up, and it will prove it.
okay?
Axis MGs are simply far too cost effective vs USF , being able to completely shut down rifleman play left and right, and rifle scaling is very poor.
MG's are effective at shutting down blobbing, yes.
Atleast relic said they are looking into rifleman scaling/USF in general.
good. |
Show us then, stream usf and show all us how to play.
You literally watched a stream of a USF player beating high ranked opponents and your still staying this? |
I really had to stop there. You are still on your pain meds and has no conception of time
Relic literally wrote in the patch notes themselves that the point of changing T34/85's to zero CP's and putting them in a tier building was to make them come earlier but at a price. |
I agree with Blackcurrent. If it can shoot through everything it's like a super b4 (the op stuff about all axisfanboys cried) but with the difference that is nearly impossible to engage in order to destroy it. Certainly need a fix, in some maps it's an instant gg.
Ah yes the Sturmtiger is the same as the B4. Except it costs fuel, is limited to one, has a long aim time, 45 range, and comes in a fuel starved faction. The Sturmtiger is fine, it has counters and represents a large investment while requiring a lot of babysitting.
Nevertheless, i think the STs splash damage / AoE pen seems to be a bug.
In the preview it would just crit / damage Mediums in outer AoE range, now it insta wipes them.
Nope, Relic purposefully increased it's pen at all ranges to 1000 and made it's AoE at far from .003 to .3 |
Trust me, i've tried, but againts competent players you really cannot afford to tech major. Againts OKW you might be, but againts ostheer going major is just complete suicide.
And im talking about IS-2 + T3 units. There is no reason to go T4 as soviets this patch.
Ah yes, no reason to want the most efficient rocket artillery in the game or the T34/85 (one of the best mediums in the game). Against Ost major isn't suicide; it's just that USF now actually can play the game without rushing major since you can get easier access to support weapons.
Ostheer teching got some huge delays, outside of the early game what is the issue here. |
I think design-wise giving the OKW the PIV was extremely lazy. It might work balance wise atm, but when I first heard it through whispers there was no excitement over the idea, and there still isn't. It's the unit we all know.
In COH 1 terror doc, the king tiger used to be simply an improved tiger for a long while. Then it was reworked to king tiger. I think the same should happen to the OKW PIV at some point, replace it with an original OKW unit. E.g. wirbelwind as a bit heavier version of an ostwind. Or some other more AI focused unit, a new unit would get me excited. The PIV simply 'works'. And is lazy. : /
I don't see how it's lazy when its something OKW desperately needed. A wirbelwind wouldn't be a generalist which what OKW needed. I think the PIV looks cool, distinct, and the vet sets it apart from the Ost PIV enough to warrant love. |
