The Pacific wandered all over the place and you wound up never caring about anybody. I watched every episode, and I couldn't tell you about a single character in the entire series. This sums it up, it wasn't the setting or anything it just that you didn't spend enough time with any one unit. In BoB you were with easy since their training till the end of hostilities, so you knew the characters pretty well by the end. In the Pacific you are with too many people for too short of a time. Thread: Men of War12 Dec 2012, 01:34 AM I've heard so much about this game. Apparently it is a hardcore master tactician game thats makes CoH look like a baby game. Especially now with COH 2 having similar featuresI can't here enough about this game. Any of ya'll play it? Is it a good game or just for realism buffs? How big is the community, and is it honestly better than Company of Heroes? I would feel no doubt putting Company of Heroes the top three RTS games ever, can this can really be on par with CoH? And it balanced out some of all those things that could wipe out an entire squad in the blink of an eye.
