I think m1919s and flamers are fine, but they should reguire BAR upgrade. So they would delay other tech/light vehicles. And defensive stance needs to be fixed |
USF tends to get 2/3 map pretty easily, but they also need to spend more resouces to get efficent army. Rifle upgrades, nades, healing costs fuel too and ost upgrades are more efficent. USF tech also has clear disadvandages. LT only has light at and units in CPT tier don't just perform very well. Although some USF companys nullfy thease weaknesses. (AB can drop at guns, rifle and inf has rifle upgrades) Maybe flamthrowers and m1919s shoud be put behind BAR upgrade? MP and fuel cost for ost teching are high but all the tiers are very well rounded. |
I don't think it would be a good idea. Blobbing is necessary some times. OKW and OST need to blob to clear buildings in early game. And how would you deal with elite inf? If there is 2 obers camping your cutoff you need so send 4 rifles to push them back. |
.50 cal is good! I allways get it against okw. It's mobile and unlike maxim it can actually supress multiple squads. Only problem with it is it's lower hp and high cost 280mp 7popcap. I don't really see why it should be more expensive than MG42. |
Naah the stock doctrines are overall usually the best ones for soviets, usf and okw. Only ost in current meta needs premium doctrines(ones with the tiger). Which you still can get from war spoils. |
The deal is not bad you get like 1000mp and ~200 muni worth of stuff with 900mp. The AI paratroopers have 1 LMG or 3 SMGs so you can still give them BAR. Zook squad comes with double upgrade. Demo is replaced with light AT mines. Paratroopers also don't get self heal with vet for some reason? The 57mm is not useless. It has good rof and with ap rounds it can still hurt tigers and panthers.
Airdropped combat group only sucks if you get two bazooka squads. I wish we could choose the upgrades or make it drop 1 AI and 1 AT squad. I use the combat group when I have lost some rifle squads and float MP but it's hard to put in your build. At the stage they become available you have allready build all the rifle squads you need and all resurces go to vehicles. |
Shocks wouldn't perform very well against allied factions. Cons can allways hurraah and disengage and usf could go BARs or light vehicles. Both shocks and obers are anti infantry squads but they work differently. Shocks are good at soloing other squads forcing retreats and getting map control, but they don't really get that many kills at least against decent opponents. Obers are ment to do MP damage to enemy economy. |
