Is it me or someone have opened the Chamber of Noobs recently, letting them all out on forums?
Recent week feels like official forums quality member crusade goes here to spit nonsense because they can't play and they insist that its all balance issues despite the fact that if you put their ladder rank number into your phone, you'll be able to order a pizza delivery. Damn. I still hate your elitist attitude but that was a sick burn. |
I will reuse my answer from the last time this came up.
They have a definite roll, harass and decap back territories, particularly in the late game to be used in conjunction with the stuka dive bomb and the tank decap ability to activate close the pocket. If the doctrine did not have the "Kill everything for 200 munitions" button, then I could see an argument for buffing.
They're utility is in this sneaky harassment, then once you have to retreat them, you upgrade them so they have some battlefield utility.
That makes them no different than Partisans, though, is the thing. They can harass and decap back territories for nearly half the cost. (Yes I know that Stormtroopers can be way better in combat but I'm just replying to this specific argument.) |

I don't think a single person ITT who has whined about sprice or called him a noob is better than him. He manages to regularly get top 10 in all factions with non-meta play, because the meta bores him. That was an amazing match from both players, and all this self-righteous faux outrage over sprice not using a cookie-cutter build order is hilarious.
If you think that sprice is bad, then beat him regularly. If you can't, then git gud. |

As of today's patch, both Assault Engineers (Armour/Mechanised) and Riflemen w/Field Defenses (Infantry) will give USF access to "regular" mines. Riflemen Field Defenses is supposed to already have it but it has been bugged so far. |
I find it too durable. Maybe they should change it so the buff it gives doesn't apply to itself? I'm a fan of this approach + limiting it to tier 3 as others have suggested. I mean, I think all call-ins should be tied to buildings, or at least all tanks, but yeah. Based on this, i guess you don't even know the tank and the aura stats.

Hey it's another person who knows nothing of business ethics or false advertising. Relic has a history of aggressively rebalancing aspects of the game, so you have no real leg to stand on for "ethical" outrage. Just #adapt |

Yeah, that would help. Just too much similar units out there though.
Anyway, current armament or STG upgrade cost is pathetic, making this commander more undesirable.

What's wrong with Zis camo?
It's in the Shock Rifle commander and that one with the guards and ISU-152, which generally seem to be the better soviet commanders so I don't see why it wouldn't have use.
There's nothing really wrong with zis camo other than taking up an ability slot by itself, but hardly anyone ever uses it even if they already went Shock Rifle/etc. Making the overall ability more valuable might remind people that it exists (as well as supporting it with tank traps, etc.) and encourage its active use.

I read it properly.... and that "buff" is nothing. Considering even vet 3 Tigers don´t perform to their task, nothing has changed there. Vet 2 Tiger with 55 range was absolutely disgusting. Saw a test stream earlier and nahhhhhh 50 range max is very much okay. 45 over 40 stock is still very significant. |
putting the g43 with the stun nade and adding a strafe for elite would be just I just wanted stun grenades for other G43 commanders, but by all means replace the strafe with something *actually* useless as Elite Troops is cheesy enough as it is.  It really ought to have at least one sort of munition sink, though. Perhaps Fragmentation Bombing Run would be more innocuous? |
