Then we fix some bugs, making your mediocre medium tank even worse. And the last, get your AT guns to the graveyard. In: COH2 Balance

But i have a suggestion: Introduce the KV85 as a nondoctrinal tank, that matches a Panther in price and performance. Soviet balance issues solved. In fact if we speak about system I told about, Soviets never got full detachments with rating more than Trained. It's either Conscript or Trained. No other AT Gun has an incoming accuracy liability, and it was only added when they realised they forgot to include it in the Maxim and Mortar(?) for Soviets in the 9.9 patch. It seems like someone went to add it back in to weapon teams and accidentally put it on the ZiS as well. Don't forget M-42 AT gun In: COH2 Balance

And experience obviously, because you only play one gamemodes with one faction. Its like you are playing 1/4 of the game. I play 2vs2 sometimes, but only with friends I can communicate with. But 4vs4 is good for me, since I can relax and play Partisan commander or Urban defence and have chance to win. In: COH2 Balance

However, all units were basically "conscripts" throughout WW2 Well, the game system I have mentioned has three ratings - Consctipt->Trained->Veteran. So Conscript in this case simply means fresh troops with too little or none real battle experienced. In: COH2 Balance

There is a game, tabletop game, called Flames of War (somtimes I get the impression, that someone from Relic definitely plays it. Even would be curious to find out) It's WWII wargame. They have implemented some mechanic, that all infantry's shooting at the same level. However Veteran troops are more experienced in using cover on the battlefield, so it's easier to hit less experienced Conscripts, than Veteran squad. Definitely looks our case. In: COH2 Balance

Its too much of a hinderance, which is stupid. A bazooka or a panzerschreck has more AI ability than a PTRS. Now how does that make sense? Sadly that's based on history. Of course we can always argue for historical approach, however that's still how it was done. Soviets relied more on AT guns, starting with 45-mm obr. 37 Anti-tank gun and later obr. 42, that were in turn backed up by ZiS-2 57-mm gun. So Relic had choice either keep weaker PTRS, or give Bazooka to Soviets (there were some supplied) In: COH2 Balance
