Isn't this how balance works around here?? Or if you are really high IQ you can solve this equation of price and performance by lowering the costs of current T4 vehicles so that people start using them at wanted levels. Simple economics guys. I agree. If necessary, increase the cost of T4 and then buff the units. This means the units will not be redundant and overshadowed by T3 stuff. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: What is the REAL problem with Ost T4?4 Mar 2020, 08:56 AM Ost T4 suffers from the classic quadruple nerfs + buff of its counterparts over the years. While it was good years ago it got armour nerfs, vet nerfs while Allied TDs got pen or HP (Jackson) and the Allied heavies got buffs through the bank (mostly large hp pools). Not to mention buffs to all Allied infantry (rifles, conscripts, Brit buffs impending). It was obvious Ost T4 could not keep up with this power creep. That means Ost has to heavily rely on the units that perform (T3 and Tiger). Either T4 gets buffs or the T3 meta remains. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: COH2 winter balance mod - discussion22 Feb 2020, 14:36 PM Those heavy tank nerfs will hit Ostheer harder than the other factions. You can play Soviets without the IS-2, you can play USA without the Pershing (+ that one isn't even affected), but you cripple yourself as Ost if you don't get the Tiger since it replaces Tier 4 entirely. That wouldn't be so bad if there were Tier 4 buffs impending but a mere 20 armor on the Brummbär and fiddling with the tech cost isn't going to make Ost lategame viable out of the sudden. The lategame faction will struggle way more in the upcomign patch in the lategame. All while Brits get (deserved) straight up buffs. Meanwhile Ost can eat shit. P. S. does this nerf also affect the Tiger Ace or just the regular Tiger? In: COH2 Gameplay

In every highly competitive game the better choice is double Panzer IV or Tiger I. The KT is slow and cant escape high pen, 60 range tds. JPIV not penetrating is also an issue though some clowns will try to tell you that it is not supposed to pen heavies at 135 fuel end of tech. LeIG not being able to reliably counter 6men weapon crew is an issue aswell. In: COH2 Balance
