I´m not too sure about that. I heard the 222 voice actor in an (English voiced) replay and the way he pronounced "Zweihundertzweiundzwanzig" made him sound pretty German. You need to hear the Russians in the German version. The biggest annoyance in this game though is the (ger version) voice of the Panzerfüsilier. This guy is trying so hard to have a strong or deep voice that it becomes ridiculous. The voice is so fake it makes you cringe. In: Lobby

I think that would actually balance it. The Soviet player would have to build T3 in order to get a T-34/85. Simply buffing the T-34/76 isn´t right either as that would offset the Panzer IV - T-34/76 balance. The T-34/85 would be more expensive than a buffed T-34/76. But seeing T-34/76 outperforming Panzer IVs would simply be silly. Also the T-34/76 in skilled hands can annihilate infantry, just drive over them. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: T-34 needs a buff7 Jun 2015, 09:53 AM Imo the T-34/76 should be switched with the T-34/85. Guards motor now calls in a T-34/76 at about 6 CPs while the T-34/85 can be built for 130 fuel without choosing a doctrine. In: COH2 Balance

Far, far below them lie the ilk of Irregulars. Units without so much as a hope of being useful. The LefH can do well over a long period of time and the werfer is the best chance of squad wipes of any rocket arty if you're willing to make use of terrain and get it snug and cozy to its target. Are they stellar? No. Are they the worst? Not even close. I can agree on Irregulars being shit. However: If Irregulars are shit, you can still go with guards or Shocks instead. This is not nice and makes the commander borderline useless. This can´t be intended. But: 105s being weak, meh at best and the Panzerwerfer being incapable of leading a long range artillery strike effectively means that while the Soviets suffer from one commander being useless, Ostheer has no viable lategame artillery at all. A commander being useless and some infantry being useless whose role can be replaced by another unit is much less crippling than a whole branch of your army being ineffective. In: Lobby

Not least because vehicles could drive over them, so they didn't choke an area up. Was there much unhappiness with the CoH1 trenches? Coh1 trenches were quite annoying. You needed a Sniper or flamer to get rid of them. Grenades also did the job but were available in T2 only. The trenches were buildable right away though. Snipers always proofed risky, flamers were available after some minutes. This left you with literally one unit on the field (a flamer pio) that could fight a trench in the first 5 minutes. I´m kind of glad they moved away from borderline OP trenches. Though I have to admit that the current trenches seem useless. In: COH2 Balance

The problem is the Tigers survivability that got crippled throughout the patches. 1) Less health 2) Weaker Blitz 3) No vet survivability bonus at all Coupled with 4) Better penetration for the Jackson (which was needed though). Imo vet 2 should be adjusted to additionally give the Tiger its initial health (pre nerf) back. In: COH2 Gameplay

Panther = dedicated anti tank vehicle = sucks versus infantry T-34/85 = omni purpose medium tank = quite good versus infantry And then the Panther gets defeated by tanks that penetrate the frontal armor. Add to that that even vet 4 bonuses didn´t help much and that the T-34s can be easily replaced, while the Panther can´t. Soviets are just easy spam. :/ In: Replays

Thread: 2 vs 2 carnage with a twist ending.24 May 2015, 18:24 PM gg wp Panthers are pure fail. Vet 4 Command-Panther + vet 3 Jagdpanzer can´t defeat T-34/85s. Gotta love it. It´s too frustrating getting the Command Panther up to almost vet5, only to see it get swarmed by Soviet call in meta and finished the moment you make any slight mistake. As Soviets you can just spam T-34s for a late game advantage, while one mistake as OKW costs you the game. This better get fixed next patch. Still a fun game. In: Replays
