I think there may be a misunderstanding on how Map Veto actually works. Just because you have voted to veto a Map doesn't mean you will not play on that map.
"A Veto counts as a single vote against a Map. When creating a Match, the Automatcher will only select among maps that have the fewest amounts of Vetos"
Basically, the Server sums up the total number of Vetos for each map for everyone, then generates the set of maps with the least number of vetoes, and randomly choose one of them.
I've talked with the Server team and they are going to look at it, (just in case) if there is a problem it should be easy to resolve with a server side fix. I did some testing here and Map Veto-ing was working as intended.
I've played this game for 5200 hrs & I certainly know how vetoing works. However, this bug is introduced in the game just after the 26th hotfix, and it has never been like this before.
Firstly the portraits, one looks like a bad guy fawkes disguise and the other a melted donald trump. Really poor effort compared to the originals
2: Infiltration commandos are just regular commandos with four dudes? Relic are new skins really that hard to add when you are selling this as new content. I mean you could have added some badass SAS type skins but no
3: American weapons (m2 flamer) as an unhistorical upgrade for British infantry, really is there any excuse for this? just lazy recycling of assets again posed as new content
The British flame thrower was a unique design and should look like this btw
4: The entire advanced emplacement commander being nothing but slight code changes to units, zero new content, zero new emplacements
5: Now the land mattress is cool, new units are always a plus but the landmatteress was in the game files during the UKF beta. So again relic pretty much just snipped existing content away from UKF launch and sold it as "new" content a few months down the line.

With the latest patch, Relic reintroduced grenades doing damage to buildings again for some damn reason. Things like Bundle and Rifle Grenades often knock 1/3 to 2/3 of the health off medium sizes buildings and can 1 shot smaller ones.
Soviet FHQs costs 60 fuel, a really big investment that delays teching. Is it too much ask to be able to repair it? To make it balanced, it could have a really slow repair rate, or not be able to be repaired while under fire.
This could also apply to British Tactical Support FHQ.

You get rekt hard by any faction? play that faction urself and see how others wreck u hard, and u will learn a thing or two about how to play, maybe!
