Is this a freak occurrence, or a legitimate risk when infantry is also in the thick of the smoke and can't see a tank to move out of its way? My understanding is that infantry need vision in order to avoid treads. If you had your shocks popping fragmentation grenades while inside the smoke that may have also contributed to it since they all stop on ability activation. That's probably not something that happens too much though. People seem hesitant to drive through smoke that they didn't pop. In: US Forces Strategies

Snipers for long range harassment, DShK for screening snipers from enemy infantry. You're taking a big risk with fuel drops vs OKW, this is true. I've had the plane not commit suicide most of the time, but I can appreciate the lack of enthusiasm to spend 100 munis on what might be a dead plane. Definitely more useful vs OST. DShK price tag and perfomance is still pretty awful for even that purpose. But yes, that's one thing you can do. In: Red Army Strategies

As Herr Schlake said, the likelihood of BARs being improved at some point + direct combat improvements to RE would create an imbalanced unit. Not so much that its useless against tanks but it shouldn't be a straight up hard counter. Granted, a a panther with proper support can Warp Drive right past the ISU and run circles on it while the infantry demolish everything else. But the ISU does need some kind of nerf. JT shooting through buildings needs to be a timed ability as stated earlier. Maybe enough of a window to get off like 2-3 shots, good ability to use against retreating armor. Elefant is hipster.
