Thread: Soviet T3 need cost increase or Ost T3 cost reduction!20 Jul 2015, 11:19 AM Sov germ game looks just about right now. I think that germ fraction was OP after 2 staright buffs to MG42. Now They still have deadly rifle nades with long range even at vet1. They have very strong LMG and all this for 240 MP. Abiblities off this kind are atribute of allied expensive infantry not 240 MP infantry. Now 240 MP grens are trading equaly with 330 MP guards. They have significant advantage in the opening, dont you think that some compensation for that is normal thing. In: COH2 Balance

So they dont know how to play normal 1v1. Even 1v1 players sometimes dont know what to do after new OP42 buffs. And cant get used to new builds and strats. In: COH2 Balance

Guards, mines, at nades shut down AC's completely. Scout cars are just a complete waste of fuel on most maps vs sov, unless shocks are used. Right answer is. Most likely better than guards cuz its a sturdy vehicle against T3 and can be fast repaired for free while guards bleed MP if engage it. It most likely beats guards 1v1. It has a speed and vision. Panz4/stug vs sovs' T3. Why not straith to the ace in tier 2. In: COH2 Balance

Use this to your advantage. Don't make a massive T1 Ost investment, when you know Sov T3 is now earlier. Sitting behind MG's with a mortar, sniper and 3x Grens (with LMG's) is going to hurt you. Do you think now sovs' ml 20 is now viable vs red germs in 1v1? They messed up things in game with mg42 buff. Making 4-5 cons, no tech building start not viable In: COH2 Balance

Like in SC competitive games are only 1v1. 2v2 looks like who will be more succesfull with a blob. Im even unable to click my units on big minimap in 2v2 cuz the map is flooded with units that are close to each other. In: COH2 Balance

My max was 1900. But i have 2 out 2 wins over my frend who is high ranked. I lost many games to noobs after mg42 last buff i just didnt know what to do with that. And my rank droped. In: COH2 Balance

They are trading equaly with guards that costs 330MP. Plus grens have vet advantage over gaurds cuz they arrive later. And guards doesnt improve with vets as grens do. Basicaly lmg grens are blanantly OP and fast t70 balances that. In: COH2 Balance

You previusly have been saying that t70 is not a problem for you. And was complaining about m5. With good micro single pak hard counters T3 forcing sovs to lose units and stop heavy T3 play. Its is really L2P issue. Right now you saying you want p4 for free win, its like geting tiger ace at the start of the game. P4 was OP considering when it was arriving. Plus buffed 222 is now capable of chasing and killing damaged t70. T70 getting engin damgae crit ussualy from a single hit of a pak or faust. In: COH2 Balance

Its not like rushing to panz4 for free win with A+click. Before sovs was geting 1 zis and 1 guards specificaly to deal with OKW light armor. It was diffucult and widely considered to be OK. And it was a coinflip cuz OKW could do mass infantry instead of luchs. So early zis investment becomes a waste in this case. In: COH2 Balance

The correct comparison would be to compare Ostheer T3, USF T3, and Soviet T4. This is because Ostheer T4 gives you access to heavy armor while Ostheer T3 gives you access to mediums. The cost to get mediums as Ostheer (T3) is: 40 + 20 + 45 + 75 = 180 fu This value is very much in line with the time it takes to acquire other factions' medium tier. 10 slower than USF, 30 faster than Soviets. Comparing T4 to Allied factions top tier, is comparing the time it takes to tech to a Panther to the time it takes to get a Sherman. Thank you. In: COH2 Balance
