Thread: Wishlist for 14th February patch15 Jan 2016, 11:42 AM I think before any fantasy requests, we should consider one thing that Lelic forgot about while being most annoying and stupid. Vehicle pathing FFS. I had enough with my tanks rolling backwards from point A to Z, with no reason, while arriving at point Z just in time to get an well placed AT/shreck/whatever hit right in their arses. I got somwhere a second reply against OKW in similar conditions but I guess it won't work anymore now. The most risky thing I guess is that I rush cromwells without realy having a serious AT untill them but it works! Also what is different in what I play is that using vanguard doc, engineers and even infantry becomes somehow irrelevant as long as you can fast cap with tanks, and even repair them with your saved amo.... Like I said, is where you place your army foundation. On vehicles or infantry. I wouldn't base on infantry in brits case. But it's only working properly with this doctrine from what I saw until now. I will make some more 1v1s this style and post them if required but unfortunately nothing until Suday cause... I got guests... so no computer touching. F u c k. In: Replays

Thread: How come ppl have probs with FRPs all the sudden15 Jan 2016, 07:40 AM I hate this false problem. FRPs are fine and prevent games from being linear and faction copy pasting. But people these days are only looking for things that prevent them from winning. I don't even want to imagine a 3v3 or 4v4 game without FRPs. What will be the point of infantry? FRPs are great for 2v2s also. Everything in this game OP or not OP, has counters. There are only people who don't like to work for their wins. I was never bothered by FRPs when playing against them. There were times when an OKW frp was erased from the face of the earth in eraly game, with a combined, good push, properly executed by allied players, after which OKW player never came back. In fact, people who are blaming FRPs are targeting (what's new) OKW again. Because they will come with arguments like "there is no other faction that has FRP in early game" pointing this as a bad thing instead appreciating diversity. In: COH2 Balance

My goal is to rush the mortar emplacement (and by all mean to limit my model losses to 1-2 MAX before building mortar) which act as a big support for your squads and help a lot to reduce your losses. The earlygame is grand classic, hugging green and important buildings I ignore half of the map and try to 2v1 ennemy squads, using the MG to trap people and force retreat. About mortar placement i try to find da perfect spot which gather the most of this list : - cover 2 victory point - cover 1 fuel point - is near one of the base entry (in case of attack, mass retreat tommys and defend the bracing mortar) - behind a sightblocker to force weird placement for attacking squads (bushes/building/anything) - near a good MG spot (to help his defense) This strat completly skip global upgrades, grenades bolster and weaponrack, save fuel for T3 and various tanks and save munitions for medipacks, Base artillery strikes and Commander off-map strikes. However, this line of play is completly soft against Assaultgrenadier spam :/ I think the answer lies in the weaponrack but unsure. Kozo. Thing is the mortar emplacement will be under constant bombardment and in early game you don't have enough power to do important pushes to eliminate the threat. I'm talking mainly about ISGs here. Related to AGs, I saw a live game yesterday in which one guy won against AGs and MG using a Wasp upgraded UC, which is a logical choice if we take into account that AGs have no anti vehicle snare. The ostheer player didn't build T1 though, so he had no faust. He built a Scout Car though, but didn't succeed to catch the UC, it eventualy died to an AT gun hit. In: COH2 Gameplay

I do agree on the sniper thing, but i cannot live without a mortar spot, it forces ennemy punishing team in a nice way. i usually do something like : Starting IS MG IS T2 Engeener Mortar Sniper Basically a copypasta from lemon 2v2 strat ... but for 1v1 X( With this BO, AT tommys are usually my favourite commander. I also make an extensive use of the Base mortars with IS. Basically always on CD. Kozo. Isn't it hard to hold the line with just 2 IS and an MG? I am going like 3 IS and an HMG right from the start or get rolled over. Besides 2v2, every time I built a mortar emplacement I got beaten. Maybe I don't know how to use/protect it properly. And I am quite bad at squad preservation, I find it extremely difiicult in Brits' case, more difficult that in ostheer's case (and I didn't believe it can get worst than that). I thought I am a verry bad player, but then when I saw players like Obscura getting 3-4 squad wipes while playing brits, I figured out it's not entirely my fault In: COH2 Gameplay
