Calling your opponents a spammer (ie unskilled shit) is name-calling isn't it?
It's not spamming, Is' how the game should be played.

I usually go for a kubel as my 2 unit.Also you can get the field gun early on, and while they advance it plugs them.Also if at some point you can sneak a grenade in on them you will have the upper hand.Also don't forget to place plenty of mines.Placing a squad of Volks grens in a building behind them they won't notice and you lob in a grenade. |
I agree with you guys.Volks with shreks work very well.
But it is very difficult to keep them alive when units like shock troops are going around.Getting Jager panthers is a very good idea.Spaming them later on in the game is very affective.In mid game though you should go perhaps for a Puma and then work your way to a panther.  |
Lately i've been finding it very difficult to win against the Allies.I can't win inf. battles and i can't seem to get enough tanks to kill theirs.

The ostrupen are actualy prety good at long range.They have the faust and can build bunker.The ostruppen doc is ok.Imo you are much better going mech. assault doc.You get assault grens right away and the rest of it i prety god with tiger and arty.Today i was just thrashig squads with assault grens. and i didn't lose a man!Also they have five men and cost just 40 manpwr more.Each oldier has an mp40.  |
Just got to level 50 and it didn't appear..so yeah..just have to keep on playing and wish for the best.
I dunno.In coh 2 i got commander at 35 and 45.Perhaps there is some sort of glithc.If you have an E-mail check from time to time i think they may send a note that says...I hope you get it at lvl or war spoil.I once had a glithc.My loadouts kept vanishing and half my commanders weren't there. |
In imo at the begining of the game you should rush the deffensive position of the enemy, don't worry about capturing and just hold for a while with 2mg's and a bit of AT.Then get a squad to capture the points and wait till you can gat the tiger.They will bomb you to hell but you will have your line behind all your deffences.You will move units from time to time and just hold.You will command points quickly and you'l have plenty of fuel.You get the tiger some unf. and after sheling them with something break throu.Haras them a bit and kind be a roming army.This will frihten them into their base and soon you will hold the whole map.  |
Although it's under performing, it's not extinct. ISU performs largely better against everything else in comparison.
Well, the elefant can deflect 50% of most AT shots with its 200mm armour. Opponents will always focus on it, so it's a great tank to soak dmg for your P4s. It has a hull mg and can randomly snipe like PAKs, so you may get a decent amount of inf dmg.
It counters ISU, so it's worth it there. Even if the elefant doesn't get to finish off tanks, at least your PAKs won't get wiped since the elefant can scare it off. It performs better synergy with a P4 than a P4 + tiger against ISU.
Its mostly an overpriced tanky 'shield', area of denier and a magnet for flanking (which is a pro). Don't get it against US, that's all.

Hi let me just start by making a small correction you are talking about skipping tier 2 not
tier 1, tier 1 is where you have gren, mg, mortar and sniper, tier 2 is the one with pack, pgren and light vehicles.
In my opinion ostheer is simply the only faction that cant skip a tier so this strat just doesn't feel viable, in times past this was actually possible but ever since the tier cost was changed its just not doable.
It will lose vs soviet tier 1 strats because you need scout car vs sniper or m3, you could try to rely on a doctrine to counter tier 1 only 2 doctrines that i can think of come with the 250 halftrack call in, one gives you LMG gren and its stock, the other gives you pgren with the halftrack so that's one way to get AT support until tanks arrive but this doctrine is DLC. It will lose vs any US Strats because you need pack to counter light vehicles which are available in any tier the US chooses to start with.
Also if you are serious about skipping tier 2 than create a bigger tier 1 army 3 gren, mg is a nice start then unlock Battle phase 1 to get lmg on grens, but keep making more units 1 more mg maybe a mortar if the map relies on house control or green cover, and more grens, not getting pgren so 2 more gren at least, if you float a lot of mp build fuel cashes to speed your tank production.
There is no point is rushing for tier 3 for medium tanks if you don't have the fuel yet, you build tier 3 and are left with 10 or 20 fuel that was a waste of mp that should be used to create a bigger army, start battle phase 2 when you have about 140 fuel, cost 55 for BP2, 25 for Tier 3, and 80 for Stug, 55 + 25 + 80 = 160 so by the time tier 3 is up you can afford your first tank right away.
But ultimately jut don't skip the tier its only 15 fuel its not going to make such a huge difference and you need the units it provides at some point, hope this helped in any way
I agree with you skiping T2 is a bad idea.I usually just get it for pack and maybe sdkf.A bit of advise don't get pg's the are useless eve with vet3.They get killed so easily.Back to the main
point.Imo skiping t2 and going mk4 is a bad idea.You should go for panther.Also getting the sniper isn't all that great.In coh 2 he is useless in coh 1 he was great.If you are going to skip t2 you should get lots of mg's and mortars

The elephant commanders aren't all that good anyway.They give you the elephant and that's about the best thing you get imo.With the elephant you cant really put preasure on the enemy.You can't advance and try to take a point or chase down a t34 or jackson.You have to hold back at a key point and let other tanks absorbe the fire while you just plug the enemy.If you are lucky they won't notice you so that they kill you.While with the tiger all you need is a bit of inf. for support or another tank (mk4 or panther).You can advance on points yo deffend more easily(can't get flanked)and generally you are in a better position.Also the tiger commanders are much better.Imo the tiger is better choice.The elephant and the tiger have same price. |
