*-raises hand-* I like to play axis whenever i'm not playing with all my friends who like allies and most of the times i choose to play them because they look cooler o.o
The OKW looks more like bad-asses in my opinion, i'd get more into the Wehrmacht if the Grenadiers didn't look.... funky... something looks weird with them x3 |
OH yeah, luchs wrecks infantry the moment it comes out but the second any kinda of real AT comes around it's not going to last long at all ;~;
atleast... it didn't with my experiences fighting with and against it xD |
i personally think the argument of early or late war as a silly argument... it's a game, it should be fun and while showing a degree of historical accuracy is important and good, historical accuracy shouldn't go so far as to take away from the fun or diversity which i think would only make the game more interesting...
such as if it was completely historically accurate, all those monster tanks the axis had would suck... allies would almost always win, the t-34 would be even more amazing than it is and... even more stuff that i can't really recall because it's almost midnight and i'm tired xD
|
another faction would make things a lot more interesting~
when i heard rumors of a new British forces i was hoping they'd make two factions along with a new campaign like the Ardennes Assault... that really made me drool when i heard about it *-drools-*
but with just a single British faction expansion? x.x;
i gotta say, i'm not as hyped for it...i mean it's better than nothing but still... maybe it's because i do favor axis a little more and am sad to hear about multiple people opposing the idea...
but... if i could add a faction, i'd see a mix of German and Italian forces, maybe the ones from Africa that fought the British more from the Afrika Korps
just my opinion on it ^^;
as if there's not enough of those on the internet x.x;
|
i've noticed that too...it's happened to me at the worst of times...
... it got kinda awkward whenever the smoke was supposed to cover an advance in front of a machine gun too... |
i don't think the idea of an American heavy tank can be considered until they change the trick with american crews hopping out of their tanks to make pop-room to call in more tanks....
I can see that somewhat breaking that patch if they had a superheavy call-in.... I mean..... you could call in one, pop out the crew.. and call in another one and put the crew back in....
It would hardly seem fair to have a bunch of those and only 1 tiger or elephant or one heavy tank per your opponent and stuffs....
often i don't really run into it but it being abused...maybe because it's hard to get up to popcap without losing units in return or something.... but something about the american faction always being able to break pop-cap bothered me... |
Yeah, but if your playing against someone of a really low rank compared to yourself it's boring too because you could do just about anything and beat the crap out of him x3
And that gets boring even quicker ;~;
What would be fun is... having an intense match, neck and neck match with that's really close using those same interesting commanders and tactics and units that no one else even really considers using...
so... with two people around the same skill level so neither side is blown out of the water xD

When i first read that PGren build it didn't come back to me, but i think i remember seeing it or a similar build used successfully in a Propogandacast by Imperial Dane. I remember i loved that one too... and other casts/recordings with that same player (who's name i can't recall at the moment) because for better or worse, he always did something different and new and most of the time in the casts, that person was successful. (whether he was playing noobs or not at the time, i don't really know)
I'd like to think just about any build can be successful if you can play it properly. Most would say that's not the case but... It's a hell of a lot more interesting than just doing the same thing with the same commander and all because it works...I've seen it with all factions, there's commanders and units and tanks that everyone sticks in their comfort zone with because the other units and commanders are deemed useless or crap.
i got slapped on the hand by a teammate in a team game (i can't recall specifics of it ;~; ) the other day because i wanted to deviate a little and chose a grey ostheer commander and not something with a Heavy tank or the stuka bomb drop xD
*sigh* i wish every unit and ability and commander was worth it's weight if you used it correctly x.x; |
