If you have lots of rocks and the other person brings lots of paper thats going to be how it goes. bring scissors. Thats how it should work but presently maxim spam isn't the strongest strat b/c that gets countered by volk spam #balance In: COH2 Balance

Changing the pop system wont help that much since manpower surpluses are often harder to come by than fuel in team games However King tigers have a pop of 26, where as IS2 and tigers have a pop of 24. Not sure about other heavies but KT should deffinatley have a higher popcap In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Best Ostheer commander for aggressive playstyle?15 Sep 2014, 12:06 PM I would recomend luftwaffe supply. You can use the medical supplies to win early fights and drop fuel for faster tanks. Other options might be Elite troops for a stronger late game with the tiger ace after tech or vet on your early tanks, Stun grenades may also help in early fights. Mabye Lighting war for the releif infantry to increase field presense since you will have spent alot of manpower on tech and a tiger as a late game option. Panthers are worth 175 fuel in a combat role, but the 90 fuel it costs to unlock makes them very unwieldy to attain. It will often take 10 minutes without you producing any tanks to afford your first panther, which is usually going to hurt you more than the panther helps you In: Ostheer Strategies
Thread: 4v415 Sep 2014, 10:20 AM I have played ALOT of Random 4v4s in coh 2. Before WFA balance was great, but simply put 4v4 Coh 2 balance is the worst i've ever seen in any game i've played. I've won ~50 of my last 53 games as OKW(conservative estimate) where as i win under 60% of my games with allies. And its not a late game issue, most games i play as axis you push the Allies off the map within 10 minutes then steamroll them from there. Mabye its the player base, mabye its b/c USF sucks in team games or b/c OKW is OP, but all in all 4v4s are a joke right now In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Is firing rate of AT guns affected by crew size14 Sep 2014, 17:33 PM As they lose models it may take time for auxilary members to recrew the gun thereby decreasing the fire rate. But this is only relevant if the 2 guys using the gun are dying or just died In: COH2 Gameplay

Shermans have A superior Tank destroyer in their tech tier, Immobilizing non doctrinal mines, Non doctrinal bazookas, AT guns with 70 range and better reload(penetration if you pay the munitions price i believe) And a very powerful anti tank strafe from airbourne. USF tanks can even cap points, repair crits and the tank at a moments notice. But these aren't even reasons that are most important they are secondary, Simply but The T34s 10 fuel cheaper price cannot possibly be justified when compared to the sherman who outperforms it in literally every statistical category without even using HE rounds, don't need to even toggle to beat a t34. Then has multiple abilities such as smoke, Pintle mgs and better vet abilities. Sherman wins and wins hard in every quanitifiable category for more than a poultry 10 fuel and 30 mp can justify. Except speed t34 is .1/6.5 speed faster than the sherman so to be fair that may make "feel better" In: COH2 Balance

Caches, supply drops and well before that opels, coupled with inequality in late game already destroyed balance long time ago. I can't say that team games were ever perfectly balanced, but they were done so reasonably well. I had about an equal win % with soviet and Ost before WFA, but in the last 2 patches im winning ~95% of team games with axis but under 60% with the allies its gone from ok balance to a complete joke(this is in random teams) In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Ninja changes for 9.9 patch12 Sep 2014, 16:09 PM I found another ninja change, The sturm officer reinforce cost for ober models is now 35 as opposed to 30. The Units themselves got buffed but the cost change was not stated in the patch notes and is not reflected in the inital cost of the unit In: COH2 Balance
