Scotts are deffinately not in need of a nerf shermans are much better imo and if you get enough shreks/at Scotts and jacksons will struggle to be very effective like 5 volks is just too much for scotts to handle and Paks will easily keep jacksons at bay
So long as you support your tanks jacksons really stuggle immensley to kill armor and scotts can struggle in engagements where enemy infantry moves alot |
Its only purpose is to kill a kubel the jeep that is, arty is pretty useful in killing okw trucks. going jeep then getting fuel caches makes it feasible to go captain and lt in teamgames so its decent imo but not necessarily great or even good only works vs okw |
When the stug was changed from 95 to 80 fuel, p4s were only 115 fuel, so there was alot of overlap between the two. Additionally Is2 armor was lower, ISUs were used less often and t4 was the least viable its ever been so i enjoyed getting them.
Now however their penetration is far too low to make them effective even compared to similarly priced units their pen sucks and they have no turret I think s simple penetration buff will make them worth it again so you can use them vs units like IS2s and shermans/t3476s
Mabye like ~180-140 pen? since pumas and m10s have 160-80/180-140 respectively while both cost the same fuel |
An interesting plan, soviets do lack mid game vehicles, but at the same time it won't change that t34s, su85s and su76s aren't very good
As an alternative along the same line of thought what about making both buildings cheaper, but making the heavier units in them cost more to unlock?
Fast su76/halftracks or w/e else won't be op coming early would be fun |
So this appears to be a contemporary to the community manager, I guess the team is still 1 short minus Noun. Or Would this an entirely new position? |
B4 and the ISU are two units that you must plan to counter b/c you will lose if you don't at the same time though counters exist and when availible make the B4 useless. I think thats an annoying dynamic and should be changed.
Also OKW has like no real counter to a b4 in an HQ sector which is like ridiculous considering how powerful it can be.
At the same time in 1v1s its not an insta win or an obvious purchase where as in 2v2+ its an amazingly efficient option if they don't have stuka dive bomb. Whatever changes made should have this in mind |
I think OKW now that soviet scout car comes out later.
OKW and soviets both are good b/c they have the lowest teching costs(b.c soviets don't tech often) But if OKW just goes luchs then soviets need t3/4 or they will struggle immensely so i like OKW at the moment. |
I think this is more related to the easily availible counters for mgs than their performance.
Both shock troops and Rifles have smoke/nades and Cons have orah and moltovs so their typical targets are more than prepared to deal with them.
Additionally Mgs are more area denial tools than anything since enemies can always just walk a different way, they take extra damage and they must always retreat earlier than other squads and get wiped more easily. These all reduce efficiency just because its an mg.
Edit: To actually comment on the unit, I think it is good to get later on in the game. I've found that against heavy shock and con armys getting 3 grens then 3 mg42s then light vehicles is the best way to fight shocks. You just need a bunch to make them truly effective, not 1 mg for 7 enemy squads but several so you can control a large area. Also Ap rounds are quite cheap and good. Balanced IMO |
It's a beautiful creation, a film made for axis fanbois.
Wait does that mean the nazi zombie dinosaur riders are the good guys
Sounds like a hit |
I think Altering the Non-call in options is an essential part in any solution. Right now, i don't want to tech as soviets b/c a t34 isn't very good. Shermans cost 10 fuel more and tear up infantry while having about the same anti tank potential. They can also cap territory at vet 0, mount a pintle mg and repair their own damn tanks without doctrines or vet. I know its asymetrical balance but USF and OKW clearly have better non-doctrinal vehicles In addition to less obtuse tech paths, thats why people tech in those factions more often and can win with teching.
A bit outside the main point but i think reducing the cost requirements to field the M5 halftrack/Su76 such as low building cost but a research price for t34s/su85s would allow the soviets to get vehicles out earlier and apply more pressure while encouraging early teching. Conversely Buffs to the 222 and Flame HT would Do the same for Wher. There aren't any quaility vehicles between scout cars And tanks within these factions so its harder to force counter vehicles out of your opponents.
