First of all, thanks for the compliment Secondly, you're obviously not a programmer, because you are talking out of your ass: 1) I couldn't have done this without the help of the programmers at Relic. 2) From a technological viewpoint, what they created is absolutely fucking awesome. While Blizzard spent probably 10 times the money and 2-3 times the time to produce the engine for SC2 which can't even hold a candle to the engine of CoH1, Relic pushed the envelope even further with the Essence 3 engine. That is what sets them apart and the reason why we play CoH and not SC2. You may not be happy with the current state of the game and that's fair enough, but show the programmers some respect, because they fucking well earned it. In: News

Fair point, I'll amend my metaphor: It's like buying a car and then going back to the dealer 3 months later and expect to get a free trailer hook. Unless, you were promised something, I don't see how you can reasonably expect to receive it and simply assuming what was agreed upon based on what you want is not reasonable. In: Lobby

Effectively they charged a premium and are now nickle and diming those same very folk. I mean - really - you buy a premium car - the least you'd expect is some floor covers and mudflaps thrown in, maybe even a tank of gas. Yet here you have people who just shelled out $100 being then asked to pay $2.99 - or effectively 2.99% more. Surely that 2.99% is something they could adsorb - given now you've just "spent" $2.99 to make those that paid for the CE to feel as though they were short changed. Its one step forward - 3 steps back here. Surely it doesn't take a marketing guru to realize the value of customer loyalty etc - charge those that didn't pay for the CE the $2.99 - but look after those - the real fans of the franchise - the ones that looked after them when the clouds were overhead and there were dark times for Relic. This whole thing is cheap. I'm not really sure why you keep quoting me to discuss a topic I did not address in the first place, but I'll bite anyway. On what exactly do you base your expectation to being given free stuff? Did Relic explicitly or implicitly state that the commanders would be free for CE owners? In: Lobby
