Thread: Why Brits Armor13 Oct 2021, 02:26 AM So what is the conclusion in these tests? in my eyes comet is overperforming for its price. It just shows how garbage is the Doctrinal Pershing tank. When you translate comet in-game. Those wipes and every shot kills 1-2 model manpower draining = lose capture/fuel/ammo point/victory point. Whilst infantry can stand in front of panther just receiving damage from MG which is nothing (press retreat). Comet kills units with high HP even when retreating. Actually, I had several games where my unit is not actually crumpled, and in green cover still getting killed 1-2 units or wiped with 1 shot. It's not a Sherman with explosive rounds and definitely, PIV shells and other tanks shot will get deflected by that green cover. In: COH2 Balance

Guys don't even think panther is comparable to Comet because its role is AT tank. This tank does it all and it's not doctrinal. Anti-Infantry, Damage Absorber, Can PEN any tanks, fast. No question, Panther is better in AT Tank department but its role is AT Tank only. Tell me somebody who has elite infantry is scared whenever they see panther? In: COH2 Balance

I wasn't talking about Asia finding match versus Western Europe. I'm merely suggesting that they also have players in Asia. And they should also put servers in ASIA for COH3 and expand their player base in Asia of course there will be some management that will look at the numbers if it's worth putting a server in ASIA. The latency between continents can be reduced if engineers know how to optimized routes between servers of at least 20-30ms max in RTS that's a huge boost. In: COH2 Balance

I'm an enterprise L3 network engineer and playing using Hikari Plan which gives me 1-2ms 1gbps SLA speed is about 70-80% which gives me DL/UL speed of about 700-800mbps Japan NTT fiber which is connected/routed and optimized directly to several giant DataCenter/DNS of AWS, Rakuten, Microsoft, Cisco, Cloudflare and ISP/Cloud providers, etc. make sense? Are you familiar with PUBG and how that game lost so many players because of server-side issues? If COH3 is focused only to cater US-EU players then that's fine. If you are fine with that small competition between TOP players, that's fine. That's why I asked if COH2 is using peer to peer and guys here clarified that it uses a server for Matchmaking. When I was young I'm competitive in Starcraft, CS, Dota 1, Dota 2, etc. Every advantage you can take counts like latency, framerate, latency of your hardware peripherals counts if you are competing in a tournament. So it would be great to grow its player base and make it an e-sport and continue developing and patching it for balances. I just love the game it gives me the most realistic RTS but it has too much RNG to become an e-sport. =D I just want to play it until I'm in 70-80s lol. But too much delay and RNG can kill you early due to high blood pressure. In: COH2 Balance

I'm so jealous whenever I watch streamers with below 50ms getting instant reactions from their units. Thread: OKW Flak HQ Lethality6 Oct 2021, 05:05 AM When you put this in a forward position of large map. You'll be losing to defend it. Not to mention its very inaccurate Anti-Air capabilities. You'll need to use smoke, attack ground, or indirect fires on it. Stop attacking it though for the purpose of just destroying it. Besides it doesn't have ground attack to counter smoke where almost all have access to it. Also, OKW player loses its tech with it. In: COH2 Balance
