...allies have awful late game units?
Serious question. I just played a 2v2 versus a well-known CoH1 player and beat him, and it was mostly thanks to the AVRE.
The thing is just so damn survivable. He had 3 Paks all firing at it, and I still had time to roll up, blow one away, and reverse back into safety with most of my HP.
Sturm is a bitch to play against, but for some reason I don't see him nearly as much, and he feels more fragile.
What is the answer to AVRE? Snares (faust)?
Because it seems like no amount of coordinated AT can kill it or scare it away until after it has delivered its doomsday mortar.
I concede it could just be the fact that I've been a USF player since they were released, and the idea of having a sturdy late game unit is completely foreign to me.
Before UKF allies had awful late game units. |
The fact you get more duplicates than actual good stuff is crap. What irritates me is playing for hours on end and never getting the bulletins I wanted, but seeing them get dropped to other people while playing. Slot machine RNG is BS, they need to change it. The system would be fine and dandy if there was some sort of crafting system, kind of like TF2, break down duplicates for raw materials and use those materials to craft something you didn't have while getting rid of all your duplicates in the process. Seriously, implementing a system like that shouldn't be an issue. I don't know why Relic keeps dragging their feet about implementing this stuff. |
Recently EA put out news that an open beta for Battlefront will start at the beginning of October. It is free for those with Origin on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

To all the people who say "Relic is greedy, money grubbing, BS DLC practices," etc., basically the one counter-point is the lack of a Pershing commander for the first year.
I think when it finally drops, hopefully sooner rather than later, it'll definitely be the fastest selling commander ever and probably the best selling after a few weeks.
They know that the old armies need some attention and release some commanders, especially that the last commanders for the USF/OKW were July 2014 and the last Wehr/Soviet commanders were last September. |
For a new comer like me..i take my time to watch some streamer..n watch my own replay to improve my gameplay
i dont want to go like "owh that thing is OP"..i want to like "owh in this situation i need to make this to counter that"
Well said! I think we need to give it a couple more weeks and some viable strategies will appear. |
The people calling for the all around nerfs to the UKF are primarily Axis players who are not used fighting non pushover tanks like the Churchill and Firefly. I say let this settle down, Axis players need some time to come up with strategies to effectively play against Brits. |
Allies can set demos, so yeah? There's plenty of back and forth abilities mate that are op.
Apples to Apples, Oranges to Oranges. Plus blitzkreig runs hand in hand with panzer tactician. Let's keep it on the topic of E-Warspeed and Blitzkreig. And don't worry, Germans will have that goliath tom foolery sometime here in the future. |
Me gusta! |
Although they are both op, the Warspeed is a one time unlock feature with a cooldown. The Blitz on the otherhand is a constant muni drain, there in the problem lays with Warspeed being used multiple times pays you greater dividends in the long run.
Plus Germans can get smoke so... yea. |
Anyone else notice the glitch when a Sherman Firefly hits a vehicle yet does no damage, even showing the shot penetrated? |
