You can still win a game with a comp at 3vs4, it happens to me regularly chiefly when the leaver is a moron. Comp will play better than him.
I don't know if I'm that much lucky but I didn't meet that much of dumbass playing ally recently, maybe 1:5 or 1:6
There is also a Behavior to have, being polite and saying early game where you'll attack of hold is helping.

Don't bet too much hypothetical commanders full of late game powerful abilities could beat an hypothetical commander full of early powerful abilities. And here, don't bet as well you'll have 100% of win vs a commander balanced between early powerful abilities and late powerful abilites. Give me a mix of: vetted rifles reco run IR Pathfinders Sherman dozer And I'll have all I need to counter Axis while the commander remains balanced and without any abilites OP abilites. In: Lobby |

.50 cal is a offensive weapon that need to be used with Rifles. It's a good investment if you don't have enough munitions to equip BARs or want to preserve your fuel. It requires a bit of micro and as any USF unit, die fast. Other deadly combo is couple with a scott like a Mg42/mortar combo. Do not expect it to hold a sector for you. it hasn't been design for it. |

This only if you don't have spotter, MG42s have better range than smoknades, so by the time they fire the smoke and go in to eventually use a grenade, you have by far enough time to reposition your MG. I really have a problem with your idea, what do you expect, anything that goes into your cone of fire should be insta pin and can only hit retreat button? Is that your conception of a balanced system? You put an MG and its already a major threat for USF in early game (I'll not talk about Sov), USF cannot just retreat every time it face an MG otherwise its a GG because you can simply push them and lock them into their base with 2 MGs. Your MG is there not to kill but to slow down and debuff, and you do the killing job with your grenadiers. Now maybe grenadiers are underperforming at vet0, but the MG no. Someone has a really good comment on MGs, there is no more skill and micro in putting an MG to lockdown a sector than using a smoke and going straight away to overtake it. And I'll add to this: Player's skill evaluation comes when the smoke has been launch and the best microing decides the faith of the skirmish. In: COH2 Balance |

I love using smoke gren vs MG, I made so many great moves with a good smoke + general push to take a sector that I can understand how some of you can get pissed off. But honestly It is just a l2p attitude guys. Lemon is 100% right, you must reposition your MG, that what the game is about: tactical decisions. If you imagine you can lock a sector by simply positioning an MG, well you can make as much thread like that as you want, it is not going to change anything... Grenades are an investment for USF in MP and Fuel + ammo to use, which delay your tiers upgrade. If you believe it shouldn't negate your MG lockdown, here again you're 100% wrong. In: COH2 Balance |

Never played SSB but I assume there are no RNG in it and abilities are fixe. Looking at paper rock cisor model, SSB apply the exact same logic. You have a hero and you simply need to found you paper ability when your opponent fight with rock. Because it never miss, if you push "paper" when he comes with "rock", you counter him, whenever your hero is considerate as weak or strong. Now COH2, when you need to use paper to counter rock, it doesn't work always. Sometime it simply miss, or many times you have different sizes of rock and not enough paper to counter the biggest. Those are the main difference. How to make sure rock can never become that big and control on RNG profile for each ability = are the challenges to balance a game like Coh2 In: Lobby |

Easier to blob for one and with an Out of Jail free card for the other. Easier to overcome lack of skill play. But don't misunderstand me, here is the same for any form of blob (from rifles to cons not forgetting grenadier's one) or super unit like panther with its abilities to escape when it fail to outcome poor skill play. Let's say in that case Jagpanthers are for skilled players. A kind of unit you can only see his strenghness while you are yourself good enough. it's a bit the same for the Jackson in fact. But as USF you must build it and use it, there are no super easy unit that can cover the edge of your skill In: COH2 Balance |
