Never say it was but units are both in their respective T4. If you decide to rush for a PW, you can skip your T3 and then it arrives around the same time the Katy. I see it as decision making the same way OKW, Soviet or USF need to decide early game what to tech and being locked with it for the 10 first minutes of the game. Even brit tech need decision making with exclusive decisions. In: COH2 Balance

PWs are largely used and can arrive at the same time as Katy, you just need to skip building your tiers 3. Even the modder team made Soviet T3 mandatory to build T4 to force this equivalence... Katy hits the field easier and earlier. In addition Katy usually has "juicer" targets to hit due to the reliance of Ostheer to support weapons and the OKW trucks. That makes Katy usually have a bigger impact in game then PW. PW and Katy are both T4 units and are you really saying to use Katy vs Truck? Soviet and British are also relying on support weapons... Then I don't know how you can come to the conclusion that Katy have bigger impact than PW if you don't build PW. You need to compare both when they are used. In: COH2 Balance

My point once more is that T3 gives access to 1 op unit and 2 average so it is not so good to cover Ostheer needs. And since T4 also has its problems many player go for a Tiger when playing Ostheer. I usually get to build it at the time the tiger unlocks and those 2 crush everything together. And you have the fuel for that? meaning you didn´t build any vehicule before panther and tiger, still you dominated the early/mid game and your opponent isn't building any ATgun. Personaly if I see my opponent dominating me rushing for a panther, my first thought is "Well I can comeback now he spend his fuel on a panther while I don't have any tank on the field", build 2 ATgun and mass infantry. Even if you use a barrage up close to wipe one vet3 squad its already paying for itself. Never understood why both german get non doct BETTER rocket arty. werfer can single target wipe anything on the field at close distant almost guaranteed, stuka makes support weapons completely useless soon as it hits the field as well as does WAY too much damage to vehicles. Allied rocket arty only bleeds mp and mostly gibs support weapons because of there large area design and the way they deliver the rockets not all at once alpha strike like werfer. Its purely rng if they wipe a squad and that squad would have to be wounded or low hp. To die it into the topic, theres a reason why at guns and infantry dont work to kill super tds, because even the one with super td can prolly afford to get one as well, or at least there teamate will. Last time I watched ImperialDane stream, he was complaining because his first PW barrage usage only got 5 kills, he wasn't even using it a close range. Some people think a unit itself should do the job for yourself and instantly wipe anything your opponent have. Obviously they are also claiming it for balance sake. In: COH2 Balance

WC51 is harmless before 5 minutes and you'll probably be investing in a M20 with skirt than 50mu on a WC51 at that time. Between UC and M3, I don't know maybe it is balanced.
