it's a magical substance that immediately calms all who come into contact with it
men and tanks who were killing each other moments before, will completely forget where the enemy is and lay down their arms, even at point blank ranges |
Well historically, Stavka determined the AVT's combat performance was "less than that of a submachine gun" (their actual words, full quote is When converting a semi-automatic rifle to fully automatic by only modifying the trigger group, its combat usefulness decreases to less than that of a submachine gun. ). So unless you want a gun that's worst than the PPSh's. Better off with PPSh's
Reality has no basis here. Fallschirms in CoH 2 use their FG42s in full auto, even though it was completely unusable in that setting |
Haha you obviously don't seem to understand what people are saying... The problem is that it has super AT and AI: its AI is good enough to wipe infantry from 70 range but still hardcounter every tank except Ele/JT.
What would you say if the Ele/JT had similar AI capabilities? JT already is more expensive and less mobile, and Ele cost roughly the same but
FFS, why do people insist on comparing 2 units in a vacuum?
ISU has AI capabilities when the Elefant/JT do not because Axis infantry is superior to Soviet inf in every way. Cons are a joke, penals are never built and guard rifles are mediocre at best. Shocks are the only infantry unit that are useful, and there is only one doctrine with both ISU and Shocks |
Axis still has the advantage by a mile. Allies have to fight tooth and nail to put on early game pressure and keep it there, meanwhile axis merely have to survive. Relic themselves have admitted that allies require more effort to play. It's good to see one of the biggest offenders has been addressed (jagdtiger).
I think Wehrmacht are in a good spot for the most part. The only unit I think may be a little over the top is their mortar. It may be fine though, it's possible that allied mortars just really suck by comparison.
OKW on the other hand have an entire lineup of units that are performing a little too well except for units like the rakaten and MG34. MG34 is balanced imo, but rakaten is very fragile, I think it should get a 5th man. Silly units like Obers, non-doctrinal KT, and the Stuka are in every match I play, and they always smack the shit out of the allies. |
well u c guys the allied mortars have to be 75% less effective than germans because they shoot at 5 man squads instead of 6 ok? |
I never thought it was OP to begin with.
rofl |
lol ok, and what wehr player isn't gonna go tier 2? Can I get free AT nades and molotovs when I build my tier 3 building then?
Shreck and rifle grenade are great abilities, and they are very much free. |
rifle grenades are the best in the game, always have been
No research cost, long range. It's really the range that adds an unpredictable element, which I love to use on my riflemen. I stack 3 of the +7% grenade range bulletins and john elway them from rifle grenade range, it's really effective.
I always thought they should do something with RGs. Make the smoke trail more visible, or speed up the flight time and add a 1 second fuse when it lands |
If i am not mistaken the Elefant is now better in all aspects but in terms of range.
Meaning the Jagdtiger is bad now, it need something to compensate
More armor, longer range, more penetration
the most important part is what else will be with the unit. The Elefant is called in from a balanced faction, and the jagdtiger is called in from the Ubermensch SS-Relic division |
OKW supertanks are a balance nightmare. KT & JT should be single-use only, and doctrinal, and the jagdtiger shouldn't be firing through geometry at all
Until something like that happens, any arguments against the B4 won't have a leg to stand on |
