Thread: Stuka a bit too much27 May 2015, 17:32 PM I haven't seen the loitering CAS in a while so I can't comment, but the Ost close air support commander's AT strafe has killed my ISU from 90% to 0, and I've seen it kill multiple jacksons/SU-85s in one pass More than a little broken In: COH2 Balance

Thread: USSR FHQ Ability OP20 May 2015, 04:24 AM To any players reading this thread for tips or strategies: daspoulos is a clown who should be ignored. Please do not waste everyone's time by going Urban Defense on Steppes. You will lose, and your enemies and teammates will think you're an idiot. It is a gimmick commander, but its effective on urban maps against players who don't notice you have the commander in your loadout and/or don't prepare for it at all. it's one and only use is to rush out and make a ninja FHQ that lets you hold a much larger area than you normally would, and/or to deny the enemy their natural fuel point. It is not used on maps likes Steppes with a grand total of 4 buildings made of rotting wood, away from both fuel points In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: USSR FHQ Ability OP19 May 2015, 21:45 PM Jump back to quoted post19 May 2015, 17:40 PMdaspoulos The little village across from the central victory point.If you spawn opposite of that side you can make any one of those forward HQs essentially shutting off the munitions, middle VP, as well as give you a great defensive position to the middle fuel. Lots of fun. I have to LOL at anyone who would go FHQ on steppes The 2 "buildings" in the east are made of wicker and are easily killed with small arms and a grenade or two In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: USSR FHQ Ability OP18 May 2015, 21:44 PM Played a game last night where I countered FHQ + Riflemen cheese with a single incendiary barrage from a mortar HT. He set up a second one a few minutes later and I spent another 30? munitions to kill that one too. He had the benefit of FHQ for maybe 2 minutes, then he was garbage the rest of the game since that commander sucks. Meanwhile Spearhead is an awesome doctrine. I personally never use Urban Defence because its boring and gets hard countered so easily. In: COH2 Gameplay
