Actually the m20 in 1vs1 usf vs ostheer is terribly broken. A smart player just flanks the mg because it does not do that much damage without incendiary rounds ( and these need to be loaded first, a lot of time to just drive by). Even a faust doesn't stop it. Wanting a buff for this broken early game unit is just retarded. As someone pointed out, ost. falls behind thanks to teching and weak vanillagrens vs free tech unit ( with bar !) and m20 that is NOT countered by a 222. Just decrew your m20 and use the zook. A pak is required and that is far too expensive. You may think "320 mp for a pak is totally balanced" and it is the case, but not the tech required to counter a 4:xx minute lolcar. You already spend 320 MP just to get T2+building. Then you need the additional 320 for the pak. Guess who is losing the early game pretty hard so you almost get stuck at your base? You cant even upgrade the grens with 42s because you have 0 map control and thus no ammo to do so. If you manage to get to the lategame as ostheer you almost won though. This matchup is terrible and should be rebalanced. Maybe rework the m20 to a minebot and make it cheaper. |

I do not get the problem with it. It has bad AI. Just get Zooks or Guards and you're good to go. You could even try the dushka with ap rounds. |
It is only getting worse in 2v2. They either get maxims and at gun support from their mate or the rifle blob with zooks which you can not counter with the luchs ( which is quite good vs this cheese in 1v1).
After that they just stall into lategame with isu. Either you have a JTiger by then or you lost. |
Sorry to disturb you guys, but what really makes this thing very very powerfull is its abillity to hit on the move. It can solo a KT easily ( without sup) and I think its too powerfull since its so cheap. |
Just played a few games with the new patch.
Muni income is awesome. Good for closing the prepatch AT gap with ( more )shreks.
But still I experienced 2 major issues.
First the Katjusha. This thing only costs 85 fuel and its like a walking stuka, but with a greater area covered. Really needs a fast fix. It destroys OKW Flak Ht in about 2 minutes and annihilates even vet 5 stuff without time to react as it instawipes. That is just gamebreaking. Walking stuka compared has a far longer cd, less area covered and it is a creeping barrage. This may be good for support weapons but it sucks vs moving infantry.
2nd is veteran rifles. They are still too good as they come too early. Every early infantry fight is dominated by that. Heck USF have the early advantage anyways why push it further. Make them 1 or even 2CP and cost 5 fuel and it should be fine. Every "good" call-in infantry in the game comes at 2 cp. Then maybe give them a optinal SMG upgrade. |
Hm I think they should use the Steammarket like in CS GO.
I was very lucky to get all OKW commanders, even Scavenge double. All this + Airborne USF and one existing Sovjet one.
I'd like to trade the Scavenge double for some bulletins but I can not... Relic should do something about this. I can just imagine how pissed I'd be if I would not have gotten a new commander and then seeing someone with all three....

KV8 is the way to go lategame, earlygame maxims or sniper / m3 spam.
You need to spend your fuel on light vehicles as OKW to not get behind, so mostly Puma, maybe JP4.
JP4 will get raped by flanking t34 ( more than 1) and most probably guards ( button). Puma is crap when SU has Guards. You can not pin the guards because Kübels are the worst unit in the game after 3 minute mark. To save for Panther is extremely risky, and also this one gets blown up by mark target and t34s. M3 with flamer is extremely potent against anything in the early game, feels like an early kv8. With the low range of pueppchens you get annihilated if the enemy knows how to flank. OKW vs SU is just totally broken please get it... |
Just played this and thought it'd be great to show off some Fortifications gameplay.
Dug in at the North Fuel Point. Although US suffered heavy losses I did not want to commit into capping the south and spreading out, thus giving away the game. So the game was very long. |
