Thread: How to counter sniper + guards24 Aug 2014, 23:28 PM Jump back to quoted post24 Jan 2014, 14:37 PMhitler1941 I didnt built motor to against sniper build MGbunker in fuel point and center VP.enemy only have 4 units to caputure.i built 2 221 and hide one,once their sniper retry,I will use 221 rush to his base to kill sniper even if 221 will die.then myPG,G43 panzerIV will help me hold battle line. i can build 3 -4 panzer iv. if enemy still fight.ACE tiger will ruin sovit base. i agree with bunker,but if u see sniper u dont haveto go straight toward sniper in begining .u can cap the other side the map and then when you have about 3grnader u can rush to their snipers be sure in that TIME he has 2 sniper and 1 penal or 1guard.if u couldnt kill any of sniper besure he force to retreat and u can cap the map...mmmm g43 may help u in chasing,maybe lightning doctrine be a good choice with g43&tactical movement. Rifles can cause them quite a lot of damage even when caught in the arc and if they use the vet ones they often have smoke and grenades that throw a long distance . Having said this I don't have any better suggestions and they do ok with open maps. I find my grens really suffer however and over time the manpower bleed does for me. I have managed some 2v2's ok with Okw by clinging together like frightened children for the first few minutes. My noobish view is that rifle dps at medium range seems a little high for ostheer to handle in the early game but this is also a blob bing problem in the game design for us and okw i agree about mg penalty(smoke grenade...) but i prefer build bunker early and dont lose my grenader untill they get vet&lmg, then i go to speak with rifleman.
