It would cause some funny business where you could stand a sniper inside of it and the enemy can't click him to attack. It would also make it much easier to crush any infantry trying to capture a point.
You should be predicting when they will riflenade you, it's usually an obvious target because you can't just throw all your munis away on nades as Ostheer. Get within the minimum range.
In 1v1 I'd say it leans to allies a little bit, but it is completely map dependent. Ostheer is doing the worst, but on maps like Crossing and Langres they are the best.
Doesn't 250 allow you to snipercar like the old Soviets? Still not a good unit, but not quite the horrific waste of resources represented by greyhound or Sexton
No, you can't use snipers in it.
It's like an M3 scoutcar without turrets, that's it. I think it might have a bit more armor than an M3, But it costs 40 fuel....
The Ostwind isn't really bad, there is just no reason to get it as Ostheer. Much more effective to just wait the 20 fuel to get a P4 that is good against both tanks and infantry than something that is useless against tanks and sometimes effective infantry.
A manual reload is required from the unit; the biggest problem is the long reload time starting after the first shot if you've been in an engagement before. Having to attack ground to cause a reload is a pain in the ass.
Nope. The okw has no good indirect fire to clear out any early garrisons . you where basically stuck with getting an lv out or directly attacking with volks who do not have smoke or ooorah.
How is that different from USF? Atleast on Volks you get the nade tech for free, and Sturmpios for building clearing.
