I see it only useful on the t-70. Everything else like the kv-1, t-34, and is2 really don't benefit from this ability and its pretty lack luster.
If you changed the ability to be a passive decap that would be unbalanced as people run around the map cutting territories like no other.
I feel like maybe they should get a 30% cap bonus rate or something so that its better than just using infantry or maybe they are more resistant to crits in this mode. Regardless it needs something or blitzkrieg needs nerfed so they can only move forward.
Ram is meh, it's currently last ditch ability only, Relic wanted to achieve that and they succeeded. It's basically a 100 fuel AT nade.
Unless you ram relatively near the Allied base you will never repair your tank before it's destroyed. For something that basically kamikazes your tank the ability is extremely underwhelming. There is no tactical depth to ram, no reason to use it if your tank is near full health (unless a Panther overstretches and you catch it from behind and you have something to follow up on the attack etc. etc.).
Similarly, there is no reason to NOT use it if your tank is one shot away from dying and is within ramming range of Axis heavies. But the awkward rotation / min range issues limit its window of use even then.
Meanwhile German armour gets blitzkrieg and doctrinal smoke and target weak point (Stug) and bunker busting barrage.
What do Soviet tanks get? Ram and secure mode. And the SUs get tracking, which has been nerfed to the point it is insulting when you compare it to Target Weak Point.
Ram is usesless. half the time it only stuns while u loose the most useless tank in the game. The t-34 is a better bulldozer than a tank and the ram is pointless. You loose the engine and the main gun for a stun
Since the next patch is bugs only patch i'm inclined to just shelve the game untill some sort of balance patch comes out. If people just left en masse it may send relic a message.But.....
the problem with this community is too many people just persevere, probably because bad coh is better than no coh.
The balance issues i have are mainly USF vs OST and certain map issues.

I wanna see a 1942 mod, basically like the theatre of war missions where you only have access to early war units.
The heaviest units would be KV-1s and Tigers, but most combat would be with infantry and light vehicles. ATGs would be the soviet 45mm and axis 37mm guns, vehicles would mostly be scout cars, halftracks and P3/BT-series tanks. Teching up would get you P4 (stubby) and T-34/76s. All you'd need to do is add a Panzer 3 and an early war soviet tank model.
You could also mod the US faction into an early war one for the afrika campaign.
Can you import modeps into coh? I know I've seen destroyed t26's bit I feel like we could just use the t-70 and su-76
I would stream if that would help relic an any way. I support relic as much as I can, I just want them to just simply be more active. I love company of heroes deeply and I've practically played it everyday since release, it hurts to watch the community and love for the product die around me
