The Sturmpistole is a modified flare pistol (Leuchtpistole) to fire explosive ammunition in combat. The soldier has loaded a "Panzerwurfkörper 42 LP" - an anti tank grenade. The Panzerwurfkörper 42 LP was a hollow charge round. The grenade had a range of 75m and could pierce 80mm of steel armour. Only small numbers were produced because Panzerfaust and Panzerschreck were available in greater numbers (and cheaper). There was a modified version of the Sturmpistole with shoulder stock to compensate the recoil of the combat ammunition. By the way: The soldier is an officer of the german elite division "Panzergrenadier-Division Großdeutschland". In: The Library

Havent played WoT for a long time and when i played WoT Pilsen wasnt often chosen by the game ^^ First of all Tric said on stream that he would like to see more industrial and/or urban maps for the contest because most of the maps are rural maps. So i thought it would be good to try it with an industrial map. I used a kind of mirrored structure to get a solide gameplay result. The rest is historical inspiration by looking for pictures of the Essen Krupp factories and the Düsseldorf Rheinmetall factories. Can you do something with the mid VP's walls? It's a bit hard to target units, because the walls get the click. Hm. I could move the walls a bit but i want to keep this LoS-Deathtrap between the factories. At the end it will be destroyed by handgrenades or medium vehicles so it shouldnt be a problem for the mid and lategame. New map center: In: Map Contest 2016
Thread: (2) The Lost Valley24 Aug 2016, 17:29 PM I wont think that this is a map for the contest. Have no idea where i can start with the problems of this map (to be part of the contest). Top point.) The base area is wrong. It seems to me that the spawn area is in a manpower sector. The map entry point is wrong (32m away from the "real" playable area). I'm surprised that the map will start without crash. 1.) Territory setting is wrong. A 1vs1 map needs 10 manpower, 2 fuel and 2 munition points + 3 VPs and the base areas. 2.) Height level will be a big problem. A map with so much hills, valleys and cliffs will kill the games. Shots or rounds will be blocked or will hit the ground. You cant shot on high range on this map. 3.) It seems to me that there are no splats, splines or tiles at all (or better: variations and painting and blending). 4.) No offmap/out of command area. There is even more but all in all the basics arent solide enough for a contest map (out of my view). In: Map Contest 2016

Thread: (2) Surazh19 Jul 2016, 17:20 PM About the map economy: I dont know where i have read it but you have to use always 10 manpower, 2 fuel and 2 munition points to balance the ingame economy. Less points will cause resource problems and more points could be added by adding this special map points like observation outpost, healing point or repair station point. But the 10 mp, 2 fuel and 2 munition rule is a kind of fixed rule for ranked maps (as far as i know). In: Map Contest 2016
