Thread: HMG bug11 Sep 2014, 12:13 PM
So MG facing bug got worse, some random retreat bug popped up. Relic are so good at "fixing" things lol xD I know they try, but god damn, 3rd? patch in a row where they "fix" something and another bug that was never there before pops up. |
Then OBW early game is broken beyond all reason. Now for soviet the M3 is enough for OKW to piss blood. U need fragile raketenwerfer that will hit every possible object before it hits target, and will aim for 4 seconds while target sits in front of it. And since this patch it scales even worse because u need double exp than before to vet up. What a POS patch. U want sturmpios to kill that m3? Well too bad they can't do shit now. A fast tip for using OKW AA HT, dont ever click to shoot at specific target while set up, or u will wait another 4 seconds... No HP nerf for soviet snipers? What a POS this game became, bunch of incompetent guys in charge of balance... This is just a OKW early game, there are so much weird balance for all factions. This game is broken...
Even UI goes trolo on me sometimes and it wont react on retreat and throw grenade since forever.
Panzerfusiliers same shit, order to throw grenade and nothing happens. Lost a half squad before i press retreat because they didnt throw it.
Screw this, will wait for next patch to see what they will fu*k up next.
IMO that's just wrong and a L2P issue, I've been murdering M3's with a Sturm (starting unit) Volks, Kubel, Volks opening. Usually only the first 3 are in the fight when M3 arrives, the kubel buff makes it a beast now, when it doesn't decide it wants to randomly spin.
The Okw AAHT is a known "bug" but Relic seem to not care. Again a known bug with grenades. |
If relic achives to balance 4vs4 without screwing 1vs1 balance or mirror the factions I applaud them. But as long as this is not happening I only care about 1vs1 balance.
They could easily have unit stats seperate for 1v1/2v2/3v3/4v4 takes more work but it'd be doable. Or change income rates or some such. There are many ways of balancing team games. |
OBK, Only Burger King OP, Needs some MMD, Many McDonalds.
Also gotta laugh at the OKW Pz4 being OP too, it really isn't it still NEEDS 80 muni on top of it's call in cost - per tank, to make it decent. Even then it still "bad" IMO, also the rest of that doctrine is buggy/overpriced abilities. |
Doesn't LT have 2 BAR's and Captain has a Thompson and Zooks? BAR's just perform better at mid-close now like they should of, not a huge long range buff also. |
We're talking Ost Panthers. At least I was. There has been a tangible improvement to the unit, but in the context of the Ost tech structure, going for Panthers outside of a situation of total superiority is still folly. Against Jacksons/Su 85s the Panther is individually stronger than a Tiger if only due to its greater mobility and range, however against anything else it is way inferior while costing more.... (tech ofc included here)
Ah, I think Ost Panther is only "bad" because of the teching costs to reach it, the tech system/call in system NEED's a rework and not just for Ost but for Soviet too, could also add tech requirements for US/Okw as well. |
It feels like all tank MG's, or at least top MG's got a buff, as my Panthers have been ripping infantry apart, also anyone else notice MG42's have a new sound? Set up and tank variants.
Believe me dude, Panther is still not viable....
My Vet 5 Panther I had earlier disagrees with you, it ate Jacksons like no ones business and won 1:1 vs su85's (I've had them go 2:1 before too but that requires the help of RNGesus |
Panther had the relative same thickness as the Tiger because it's armour was sloped where as the Tigers was not, or at least, not to the degree the Panthers was.
The Panther is no longer a fast flanker tank like it used to be back in early CoH2 before it got nerfed hard, it is now a long range slugging tank with good frontal armour.
I do notice however Panthers bounce Jackson's seemingly very easy at most ranges except close.
Yet do struggle to bounce SU85's at long ranges, yet they used to have a decent chance to before the buff, me thinks SU85 got a stealth penetration buff, or I've just had terrible RNG. |
The most important rule of tank matchup:
Don´t ever build the Panther.
Why not? It is a solid tank if you know how to use it, even more now so it's had a buff.
People keep trying to rush it in and use it as a flanker, it used to work as a rusher/flanker but not anymore, it is a keep at range and snipe tank/chase down fleeing enemies, always keep frontal armour to enemy tanks and you will bounce most things.
However Panther's used to bounce SU85's reliably for me before this patch, now it seems SU85's penetrate Panther regularly without fail, I don't want to say SU85 got an undocumented penetration buff, but it sure feels like it. |
You have to remember while you lost 2 Panzerfus he lost like 5/6 conscripts so you belt a lot more MP than he did, the only "problem" with FHQ is if you are busy dealing with it and he gets the rest of the map with his other units. If you can keep map control and force him in to defending the FHQ and bleed him more than he bleeds you then you have an advantage. |
