Control of the industrial facility and harbor at Karkand motivate this assault by Allied forces, where they find Axis forces marshaling to defend the industrial city and determined to meet this attack with stiff resistance. The terrain surrounding Karkand sufficiently opens to allow for sweeping fields of fire but the open ground increases the danger posed by anti-vehicle missiles, mines, hidden trenches and sniping. It is thus vital for both sides to secure firebases in Karkand’s sheltered city center.

I tried to remake the Battlefield 2: Strike At Karkand map as detailed as possible. This is the 16 player version, so no island. I might make a bigger Battlefield 2 map in the future. I enjoyed every single hour I put into it. Many, many hours of alt-tabbing from the game to the world builder. Was it worth it? Hell yes.
After I finished the map, I figured that it was rather empty, particularly for a Company of Heroes map. I decided to add sandbags and other types of cover. I hope that you will only enjoy this.

I´m almost done, only need to create the US base side. Can't wait to publish it, but first need to test it. I won't post any further pictures, I want to keep the tension alive
I had this too, but in my case it was bug. (got it about three times when building my map) I just restarted the editor without saving and it was normal again.
