Thread: Give me a reason why KV8 is OP?19 May 2014, 05:02 AM Honestly a few months ago I was also part of the "KV-8-OP!"-faction, but nowadays I'm always happy to see one because of two reasons: - KV-8 means NO ISU-152. Thank god! - KV-8 is not a cheap tank. So the enemy is "wasting" a lot of fuel for a tank that can only handle inf. KV-8 comes at 9(?) CP which is pretty late for an anti-inf tank. By that time the German player should have gotten at least a Panzer IV which will probably kill the KV-8 one on one. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Western Front - lack of info?14 May 2014, 15:14 PM Sure that's why I'm not going to preorder it. I don't see the point in preordering WFA because there is not really a reward if you do it. We don't get any TOW scenarios for free and no commanders at all (which is not a bad point, but still). I won't take the high risk of preordering a game with a mostly unknown gameplay just because of some free skins. In: Lobby

Thread: Relic please make reconnect possible10 May 2014, 18:00 PM It happens not that often to really start a rage because of this topic but sometimes it happens in my 2 on 2 AT that either I or my team mate gets a disconnect after let's say 30-40 minutes just because someone of us has had a disconnect for about 2-3 seconds. When this happens the other one has to play with the AI and probably gets a loss. In EVERY other game it's possible to attempt a reconnect when somebody gets a disconnect. Why isn't it possible in CoH2? I think many people would enjoy this. In: COH2 Gameplay

Obviously the howitzer can't dodge it and that's 600 mp down the drain as soon as it's revealed. 2) The Elephant doctrine has it. Which eliminates one of the few things that can hurt an Elephant - a howitzer/b4. I'd like to see those things adjusted. Otherwise, it's fine. In 2 on 2 at least one player nowadays has to take the Elephant doctrine while the other one mostly takes Speerhead. B4 kills all the German Tanks and the Germans can't do anything BUT Recon + Stuka. So I think 240 Ammunition is a lot to kill a single howitzer that can be rebuild. Elephant is expensive as hell so there won't be a lot more other tanks around. Flanking is the key because unlike ISU-152 it won't kill a single man in 1.000 years. In: COH2 Balance

The Company of Heroes: Online commander was completely useless. I'm not sure it had any outward facing functionality at all. Only the user saw their own creation. It felt like it had been added because "well it's like an MMO and they all have this feature!". How would it be utilized in CoH2? You create your little commander dude and everyone sees him once at the loading screen and he's gone? Does he stand next to the HQ building like the commissars from single player? Or do you see him at the victory screen triumphantly rodeoing a bear? ... actually that last one sound alright. I digress though! It's pretty much a waste of resources. Inb4 it's not Sims I think it would be a pretty nice idea if you could do for example 1 up to 10 own soldiers which appear with a percentage of lets say 1-5%. That means every soldier has a 1-5% chance to appear in a squad. I would enjoy creating my friends as soldiers and seeing them fight the enemy. In: COH2 Gameplay
