I would turn homosex for the british vanguard commander |
Bren carrier flamer OP? Lol it's a glass cannon light vehicle that comes out later than a 222.
It's the last thing that needs nerfs, if anything it should be cheaper.
As someone that alpha tested, brit early game really needs some work imo.
Buffs:
Grenade upgrade should be bundled with bren guns and PIATS
PIATs need to be given Zook/Shrek targeting and an up in cost (they can't actually hit moving vehicles as it stands which is a big problem vs fast 222 as IS have no AT grenades)
IS should be stock 5 man squads but an extra 20mp per squad.
Bren carrier needs a dps buff on the move to counter the sniper and a price decrease.
Firefly needs a RoF buff
Nerfs:
Health nerf on all churchill variants
Commandos need a hefty nerf
AVRE should get a reload increase and slight damage reduction vs vehicles
Comet incendiary ability needs upping in cost
Supply m5 should not be able to drop weapons for other allies

I remember reading a giant thread about the wehr sniper vs brits and their lack of counters on the alpha forums, a week later nothing was changed and relic said they were happy with the UKF balance |
Brits get rekt so hard by Ost it's not even funny.
Sniper + grens into 222 and they can't do anything, Bren is WC51 teir as a sniper counter and PIATs can't hit a 222 at all due to the way they track (good luck killing it any other way as IS have no AT grenades).
Unlike USF you don't get any infantry squads with tech, which combined with 35mp reinforce for IS makes the MP bleed while you rush to AEC unbearable. Brit sniper needs a desperate camo/Aim time buff to be able to countersnipe.
The bren flamer upgrade also comes about the same time as the 222, not sure what relic were thinking with that one (am I supposed to just drive around a toothless squad carrier until T2 for the upgrade?). The Bren carrier in general is just overpriced I guess.
The upgrade for squad sizes and grenades is a bad decision, UKF really can't afford them early game when they need it most. imo they should be stock five man squads and grenades bundled with the bren/PIAT's.
Emplacements are overpriced and die too easy. Why spend 400mp on an immobile mortar that gets countered by a single wehr mortar/ISG?
All in all relic said brits are the faction to be able to "hold ground" after they take it, but in reality they can't even take ground in the first place let alone hold it. They have a fundamentally flawed general infantry that need to rely on a cover gimmick to remain effective, all the while bleeding like crazy as they are so expensive. |
In the words of the shitposting Queen himself: "LOL" |
People are missing the point. Most posters are not moaning at relic "adding more DLC content", they are annoyed because relic are cordoning off already existing units in DLC doctrines that should have shipped with the expansion.
When Opposing fronts launched with the original Brits/PE you got every unit that shipped with the game, you didn't have units like the Crocodile churchill, airlanding officer (or in the case of WFA the easy 8, WC51, Greyhound, M5, Jaeger infantry, sturmtiger) locked behind an extra paywall in premium commanders.

Nerf jackson turret speed and adding in some kinda of sight ability could be interesting. It could help diversify it a lot more from the m10. |
but not everyone can micromanage as good as you bear that in mind and that can be a problem for the majority who can't
Well if someone has micro crap enough to not be able to press U and reverse after a jackson volly maybe they should look into another game.
Mech is right, jackon spam backed up by rifle m1919's/flamers is pretty damn powerful in teamgames.

The news that three of the six British commanders being day one DLC was not much of a shock knowing Relic.
But it still smells of disgusting business practice, if relic were desperate for money that bad they should have upped the price by an extra few euros. Rather than separating half of the commander content (That means units like the para air landing officer, Churchill crocodile, Airlanding glider and para medics and a hefty amount of abilities are effectively locked behind a paywall) making people hate their guts and open CoH2 up to the P2W argument again.
Relic are borderline on EA tier DLC milking as it stands, the worst part is they seem ignorant of the problem. Instead offering the likes of the broken war spoils system in an attempt to groom the playerbase to frustrate them and buy yet more DLC that should have came included with the faction. |
I feel like Soviets should get a t-14 armata, the faction just feels too weak without a tank to breakthrough and kill everything.
I mean relic never ruled it out so it's a strong possibility |
