It used to be a huge problem for USF: if it got into a building, you needed a Pack Howie or a literal tank to get it out again.

That's why USF got a T0 mortar.


I can usually deal with them well enough as USF because of the mortar but UKF is pretty difficult.

i dont see the problem with the MG42 tbh... T2 soviets aside T1 SOV UKF and USF have infantry that practically bully grenadiers and have a comparable MG or a really good T0 light vehicle... or a mix of both...

of course T2 soviets are the real suckers in this comparison... not only do they get an mg that is significantly worse than the 42... they also dont get infantry that bully grenadiers... in fact grenadiers are likely to bully conscripts since the 7 man upgrade takes AGES to unlock...

MG42 used to be in T1 before.
- Has an AMAZING arc of fire.
- Used to have 3 men per squad (really)

Maxim used to cost 240 before, and was way more powerful
- Sprint removed
- Suppression lowered by ~50%
- Now takes double time to set up, tear down.
- Now takes longer to make
