As mentioned before, the crutch unit has been nerfed. The question is, what do we buff now to fix the dire situation of UKF?

UKF was bad Ostheer with 280 man super soldiers that blew up any CQC units by tossing grenades at their own feet.

Now they're just bad Ostheer.

I think the Balance Team needs to decide how they're intended to be played, and then give them the tools to do that effectively.

This kind of thing tends to happen when you nuke every single crutch unit to compensate for terminator infantry killing everything and then nerf said terminator infantry without reverting previous nerfs to things like UC, Cromwells, Tank hunter IS, Land matress etc.

Gotta love picking Lend Lease all the time to deal with assgrens and MG spam on chokes, very rewarding gameplay.

No, the UC armour nerf was absolutely well deserved and should never be reverted.

As i understand, Lago's idea is that with pyro upgrade, tommy can throw a green marker and base howitzer will fire a quick smoke barrage with a share global cooldown with the HE barrage. I think it Sound really good.

In the other hand, I will bring up this again, how about a smoke discharger upgrade for the Universal carrier ? Make it more "Universal"

How about an armor upgrade like the m20 which allow troops fire from inside the vehicle ? Require platoon Cp. The stock Uc from T1 will still come out like current.

Or, move UC to T2 and add a fuel cost ?

I don’t care, as long as the 7 armour UC stays the hell away from the game.

Having to account for the broken sections as well as the untouchable from small arms fire UC at the start of the game was a nightmare, and the only counter was to build a raketen AFTER you encounter the UC, because preemptively getting one destroyed your early game if the Brit didn’t build one.

Calm down, dude, I'm not asking for 7 armor UC And sections are no more broken now, aren't they ?

All i was proposing is a smoke discharger and/or an armor upgrade at T2.

The UC is probably fine as a situational unit that you can use for long-range maps like Crossing.

Vickers is fine too.

Royal Engineers could use a little close range buff in my opinion so they can become UKF's non-doctrinal close-range infantry. Again situational depending on the map. Right now they are mediocre without flame thrower. If they got a slight DPS increase on range 0-10 they would be fine.

The Cromwell could use a bit of love, I find it to be the worst medium tank. I honestly prefer T34 76 over them because at least then you know you get AI. Just buff the MGs a little, that should be enough.

Comet is still in a difficult spot because of reasons I explained in the Comet thread.

I was referring to Kirik who complained about the original UC nerf.

The whole faction is designed around all concepts that were asked for by ostheer players and rejected (close range grenade, 5th stock man gren squads, ability to build sandbags, heavy stock tanks, etc.)

Typical "grass is greener on the other side".

Infantry sections's nade had a minimum range now and it is standard frag, ost have nuke nade with no minimum range on a cqb specialist which can be built from T0.

Sandbags can be built by pio, which also come from T0 so stop pretending thay ost cant get access to them.

Edit: Like some lad above said, UKF use to be worse ost with infantry sections as an exception, now they just be bad ost.

And yet, your win ratio with them is exactly the same as with any other faction you play.
In fact, your playercard proves that game is perfectly balanced for average player.

Jeeez - I'm like 200-400 UKF player in 1v1 without using shotcuts on the keyboard. And I'm a total noob not using any meta with them. Trust me - they are much better than ost.

But to the point - they really have everything ost player have always wanted.

No - I'm much better with brits :) And it is so much more forgiving playing them. But I'll have to put some more effort into ost after patches - I'll report in a month or two :)

I'm not going to comment on you rank or lv, or skill, i can honestly say that i have 1500+ hours of gameplay UKF only but It doesn't matter at all.

To the point - i can confidently say that ost really have everything that an UKF player like me always wanted. Anyway, again, this is just "grass is greener on the other side" issue.
